    Great show but.....

by mswench on 2/10/20Penn's Peak - Jim Thorpe

There were 3 bands. The first one was not necessary. Tony Macalpine was great and Sons of Apollo was amazing. Sounded amazing! Downside, one of the bands was late and soundcheck went 1/2 late. Had to stand outside for 1/2 hour to not lose your place in line. With temps in the 20's and 25+ mph winds and snow it was not a great experience. They should have a back up plan as it took all night to get warm again. Maybe give everyone a ticket for a free hot chocolate or coffee. Would have gone a long way.

    Talent overload

by Brzarkry on 2/10/20Penn's Peak - Jim Thorpe

The amount of talent on stage for this concert was mind boggling. All three bands gave virtuoso performances.

    Great Show, Great Venue

by TWC54 on 2/10/20Penn's Peak - Jim Thorpe

Great Show @ Penn's Peak. Beautiful Penn's Peak has it all. Plenty of parking, restaurant with good food and large venue with great sound. Not a bad seat anywhere...

    Awesomeness

by Steve on 2/9/20Paradise Rock Club presented by Citizens Bank - Boston

SOAare a great unit of musicians. Soto kills on vocals,Portnoy is one of the best drummers of all time. Bumblefoot shreds. Sherinian has to be the best keyboard player on earth. And Billy Sheehan is the master of bass guitar. 10 stars

    SOA Rocked! 🤘🏻

by SherW on 2/9/20Gramercy Theatre - New York

SOA was awesome, as usual! I didn’t care for the two opening bands. Would have loved to have skipped them and just gone straight to SOA!

    These guys are amazing

by Mobin4life on 1/29/20The Fillmore - San Francisco

Sons was amazing. My only problem was the tickets didnt state there were 2 opening bands. They were good too just wish i would have known because it caused my father and I to get home a lot later than expected which messed up making it to work the next day for both of us. Fillmore was great.

    Sons of Apollo, Rock on!

by SherryRockedWithSOA on 5/27/18Howard Theatre - Washington

In a word...EXPLOSIVE! These musicians are all amazing in their own right, but put them together and WOW! Such a kicka** concert. A powerhouse of talent. This smaller style venue wasn't packed by any means, (fantastic view for us!) but Sons of Apollo played like it was a sell out crowd in a much larger venue! They are truly amazing! We did the meet and greet before hand and they are the nicest guys! Can't wait to see them again!

Sons of Apollo is my new favorite band!

    by Never2Old2loveRock on 5/25/18Howard Theatre - Washington

I was able to go to 6 shows, all VIP, from the 2nd show of their first tour ever, to the last of the US shows (in DC.) This was a really small crowd, but these guys played just as hard and put just as much energy and excitement into it as the beginning of the tour! They have great respect for each other as well as their audience and every time they hit the stage, the energy they bring almost knocks you over! I literally could not stop smiling- must looked like a crazy person! I chose VIP because these were standing venues and I'm short: I wanted to make sure I could see. And I'm glad I did. Meeting these guys was so fun-they love their fans!

    What a Show!!!!!!

by greynon on 5/24/18Howard Theatre - Washington

Phenomenal show. One of the best shows I've ever been to. SOA sounded better live then recorded......how can that even be possible. If you were able to go and didn't, you surely will regret it.

    Sons of Apollo killed it!

    by charleyp1 on 5/23/18Howard Theatre - Washington

Sons of Apollo killed it. These guys are old pros and their years of musicianship and practice shined Sunday night in DC. It was literally one of the best concerts I've been to, certainly in the top 3 at a small-medium venue in which you are up close and personal to the band. I had watched YouTube videos of their earliest shows on this tour and I was worried a bit about the vocals but by the time they made it to DC (the last stop on the US tour) everything was clicking with them. Soto's vocals were fantastic. Instrumentally, they were all flawless. And the ticket prices were laughably cheap when compared to newer big-arena acts. Sons of Apollo, take my money!

    The definition of a supergroup

by Progfly on 5/19/18Theatre of Living Arts - Philadelphia

The show totally blew me away! I knew it was going to be good but that was amazing! To see those guys up close was very special. The sound was surprisingly decent considering the size of the venue.

    Amazing musicianship

    by Yeshead777 on 5/16/18Varsity Theater - Minneapolis

Everything I expected from this new band of seasoned veterans. Came in as a huge Mike Portnoy fan. Still am, he was great as ever. But the star of this show for me was Billy Sheehan. A bass monster performance up there with the best in the world Victor Wooten. Small turnout unfortunately but enthusiastic. Great tight performance for a brand new band. Derek Sherinian really gets to shine in this band also. Check them out!
