Sonoma Raceway Tickets

Great price for alot of racing action. Can't wait until next year. I'm hoping to see more manufacturers participate next year (Hopefully the economy everywhere improves so that they can). The other races (The Maserati race, US Touring Car Championship and the AutoGP) were entertaining too. I bought a pit pass and got to talk to some of the mechanics for the US Touring Car teams. Nice guys. The venue had its act together as far as the shuttle service. Never a long wait. The lines for food were long, which they apologized for. Overall, a great weekend.

what a good time i had for my first Indycar Race, surely unforgettable

Everything was great, but I wasn't expecting to be on two lane roads for so much of the drive from Sacramento. Maybe there is a better route.

This event at Sonoma Raceway is better every year this was my fifth straight race. The weather the atmosphere is a tribute to the Indycar series and the Sonoma raceway. Could only give 5 stars but they deserved more. Can't wait for 2013

Excellent overall weekend. Not as crowded as NASCAR event which I really like. Easy to get to my seats in section 9E. Had lots of fun with all of the different sim games in the paddock. Would like to have cruised the garages but I didn't have a pass. The first half of the race wasn't too exciting but the second half was great. Was glad to see Newgarden walk away from his accident at turn 9 (right in front of me).

The facility is well run and I felt like both the track and IndyCar were very interested in my enjoying the race.

Went for raceway only on Sunday. Arrived at 10:00am, traffic and parking were minimal. Spent an hour checking out the booths near the grandstand then headed back to our seats at turn 9 in time for the air show, which was quite fun too. Mthe race itself was well worth it. The view from turn 9 allowed us to see the majority if the track and the race. Great day.

We were in Section N of the Grandstand. We could not hear anything the pre-race announcer was saying. I think some loudspeakers in the Grandstand would be very beneficial. Also, the famous Sonoma winds froze us out to the point that we had to leave early, even though it was a beautiful warm day. Maybe a wind block at the end of the Grandstand would help. Kind of funny that we asked 4 officials what "Section SF" on our tickets meant and nobody knew. Finally we found somebody who knew --- Start/Finish. Regarding this review, it was very irritating to have to try 6 times to find a nickname that wasn't taken. Why is this even necessary?

Great facility with plenty of spots to have something to eat or drink...... and plenty of bathrooms also. Parking was easy and the staff were real helpful and pleasant. The prerace activities were well organized and fun. The race itself was really cool and will be back there next year!

Even though I was left out in the sun for the most part, it was a great view of the pits and victory circle.

We had a an absolute blast! We stayed for all the races right till the end and we are really glad we did cause the last race was incredible! We loved walking through all the pits and we were amazed how fast the geico team put a new engine in after each race!

it was great! i can't wait to go again! and the best part is you can sit just about any where!

Been going to California Drag Racing Events sense 1963. Started at Drag City Raceway in Fontana, Ca. The Sounds, the Smells, the History of Drag Racing keeps this 62 year old coming back for more. As a mechanic, who enjoys wrenching on engines, this is the Ultimate there is. Racing will always run hot in these old veins. Thank you Wally Parks.

We paid extra for Thunder Alley access but thought it only gave us access to the pre-race track walk. We stumbled across the knowledge of where Thunder Alley was and that we could be there for all events. After the race, the shuttles were all lined up and we knew we needed the "Blue Shuttle" but, along w/ MANY others, couldn't figure out how to find out which was our shuttle. All the doors were shut - and the drivers didn't open them. Along w/ a crowd, we had to walk about 3/4 of a mile uphill to get to our parking lot.

I had a great time at this event, in addition to the non-stop racing, there is a lot to do and see as well. For anyone who is a fan of drag racing, if you have never attended a drag racing event there is nothing that compares to the experience of the smell of the nitro, how the ground pounds and the sound of 8,000 horse power going down the track.

If you have never been to NHRA full throttle drag racing YOU don't know what BAD ASS is.

We had a great time. It was my wife's first time seeing drag racing live and she is ready to back again next year. And she's no spring chicken either.

2nd year my wife and I have attended. Really enjoyed the pre race track walk with all the fans and John and Courtney Force. Thanks to all for putting on another great race. See ya next year.
