    Nice?

by Alyssa on 2/7/24Music Hall Kansas City - Kansas City

I am a little conflicted with leaving a review because I liked the event, but the organization and traffic flow needed a lot of help. There were multiple events going on downtown but no one supervising at the lights or around areas that needed it. Too many opportunities to get hit or watch a crash. Eventually we found a place to park and made our way to the theater. The concert itself was fun. The layout of the theater made it a little difficult to see the stage once people started standing, but overall a good vibe and it had variety. There was not much you could do during Intermission without missing part of the concert though- bathroom, food/water and merch lines were backed up for the whole show. Overall I had a nice time, but I will not likely be attending any events in that theater again

This was an amazing experience! A lot more crowded than I would've initially thought, but it was still so enjoyable nonetheless! Thank you, Sonic Symphony, for giving me the experience I could've only dreamed of having as a kid. Well worth it!!

    Really Fun. Highly recommend

by Zach on 1/30/24Music Hall Kansas City - Kansas City

Had a great time! The orchestra was beautiful, the rock portion was killer and the projections of animation and actual game footage of various Sonic games. Highly recommend for any Sonic fan.

More than a symphony, way past cool!

by Allen on 1/30/24Music Hall Kansas City - Kansas City

Obviously this is targeted at Sonic fans and the series has a pretty extensive history and variety of music. While some may argue that sonic 3 & knuckles and other 2D titles could/should have gotten the symphony medley treatment like 1, 2, CD, and mania, the post intermission half absolutely killed it. From the whole venue singing along to the Dreamcast songs to new frontiers tracks, there's something for everyone. Adrienne Cowan did crush40 and the metal songs from frontiers justice (I need to go listen to seven spires now) and I'm sure Casey's version is great too. (Actually got to see her do a few tracks at MAGfest the week before). If you've played a single sonic game or like any of the music, you need to see this show. I've played like 90% of sonic games over the last 20 years, but my friend who went with me played only 2 games and still had a blast.

    Amazing Experience

by Maxie on 1/30/24Music Hall Kansas City - Kansas City

The concert was amazing! The visuals were timed down to the millisecond and they celebrated everything about Sonic. I absolutely adored this symphony and highly suggest other Sonic fans go as well.

by Sonic Fan Mom on 1/30/24Music Hall Kansas City - Kansas City

The Sonic symphony orchestra and concert were amazing. My 8 year old son is a huge Sonic fan. He enjoyed the show. It was a lot of “Sonic” for me, but I enjoyed it.

The most fun and welcoming experience ever!

by Baylee on 1/30/24Music Hall Kansas City - Kansas City

This was one of the coolest, most heart-warming experiences. The whole venue felt so full of love from the audience to the performers, and I don’t think it was possible for someone to feel left out from the fun. I adore Sonic and this was such a celebration! I was so endeared by the talented performers, because they seemed like they were having just as much fun as we were. I would go to this again and again! I am so hopeful that the Sonic Symphony can come around again someday, with more locations, and new songs to perform! There are so many more songs I’d love to hear live, so they have plenty of material to work with! If you can come to one of these, DO IT!

More fun and energetic than I expected!

by Christine B on 1/25/24Warner Theatre - Washington

When I got tickets, I assumed the whole show would be orchestral renditions, which I was still looking forward to. Two-thirds ended up actually being a rock concert, and BOY was that a lot of fun! I appreciate that they also covered not just the most popular or oldest games from the Sonic franchise, but a little bit from almost every game released. (Only two games I know they skipped from memory were Secret Rings and Boom.)

    Sonic symphony experience🌎🦔💨

by Cloudyj on 1/24/24Warner Theatre - Washington

As someone who listened to all those Sonic songs when he was little, it felt so nostalgic listening to those songs at the concert. Everyone involved gave it their all to make it a memorable/unforgettable experience and I’ll always be grateful for that💙

by Samuel on 1/24/24Warner Theatre - Washington

Every moment of the Sonic Symphony reminded me why this character and his series are so important to me. Sharing this night with other fans of Sonic through our love of music made me happier than when it's my birthday! If you can attend this Symphony, I highly recommend you do so. Thank you for everything; I would love to attend the Sonic Symphony again someday!

Got to relive my childhood with great music, memorable gameplay selection (that sometimes very accurately described my experience haha) and an electric second half after intermission.

Today I’ll be talking about a sonic game that I hold very close to my heart. It’s crazy, controversial, and very high budget. Hooba Dooba!

A Sonic Blast to the Past

by Hawk on 1/23/24Warner Theatre - Washington

If you want to see a show that leaves you laughing, smiling tearing with joy then this is the show for you. The music was tastefully composed and engaged with the audience well. It was nice to be in a place surrounded by people who share the same likes as you with a performance that playfully and respectfully brought back memories of many childhoods. If there was another performance in the area years ahead from now, I would buy the tickets today. 110% well done

    It was happenin'

by Juza on 1/23/24Warner Theatre - Washington

Way more songs than I expected got played and the entire experience was unlike any other show I've ever seen. A symphony turned into a rock concert into a rock/symphony fusion and then into metal. It covered most all songs you'd expect or would even want to hear and the entire experience was amazing. The only thing that could have made it better would have been knowing more sonic fans to enjoy the experience with.
