SOMMORE ON TOUR:
Ever since her debut in the early '90s, comedy queen Sommore has had audiences falling out of their seats with her witty skits on the female perspective. Dubbed "a force to be reckoned with in the new millennium” by Oprah Winfrey, Sommore delivers her often-controversial jokes in a lighthearted manner and is never afraid to push the boundaries with her animated shows. Oozing with sass and style, her skits are as funny as ever as she hosts the 2014 Standing Ovation Tour, where she'll perform alongside a number of highly acclaimed comedians.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Atlanta-based comedian Sommore has been performing stand-up comedy for over 20 years, earning her first recognition in 1994 as host of BET's "Comic View." Since then, she's exploded onto the scene with a number of hit comedy performances, including the Guinness World Record-breaking "Queens of Comedy" tour alongside Laura Hayes, Mo'Nique, and Adele Givens. Not only has Sommore had a widely successful career as a female comedian, but she's also appeared on numerous talk shows and acted in many films and television series, proving she's an entertainer at heart. Back on the road for a string of highly anticipated shows, Sommore will have fans rolling on the floor with her latest stand-up routine.

by misseddc on 2/7/10James L Knight Center - MiamiI left my home at 7:00p.m. in order to reach the venue at ,no later than, 7:25p.m. However, after sitting in traffic for three hours.I and many other did not get into the show until after 10:p.m. I did see Sommore. She was very entertaining and did, towards the end of her performance, lift my mood, which I thought no one could possibly do.

If you were performing here in the MIA every week girl i would be there just utterly stupid (in a good way). What's so crazy is everything you talked about was true all i can say is you are the realist. THANK YOU

ALL of the comedians were well worth the trip. RAZAR was especially funny with his bit on Jamaicans and Haitians. LOVED THE WHOLE SHOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!:)

by snuggie1 on 12/6/09Robinson Center Music Hall - Little RockSommore was really very good, but she was onstage for only about 45 minutes. The rest of the night was dedicated to the other comics. I really enjoyed each of the other guys EXCEPT Michael Blackson. Laugh out loud funny most of the night, however!
