Ever since her debut in the early '90s, comedy queen Sommore has had audiences falling out of their seats with her witty skits on the female perspective. Dubbed "a force to be reckoned with in the new millennium” by Oprah Winfrey, Sommore delivers her often-controversial jokes in a lighthearted manner and is never afraid to push the boundaries with her animated shows. Oozing with sass and style, her skits are as funny as ever as she hosts the 2014 Standing Ovation Tour, where she'll perform alongside a number of highly acclaimed comedians.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Atlanta-based comedian Sommore has been performing stand-up comedy for over 20 years, earning her first recognition in 1994 as host of BET's "Comic View." Since then, she's exploded onto the scene with a number of hit comedy performances, including the Guinness World Record-breaking "Queens of Comedy" tour alongside Laura Hayes, Mo'Nique, and Adele Givens. Not only has Sommore had a widely successful career as a female comedian, but she's also appeared on numerous talk shows and acted in many films and television series, proving she's an entertainer at heart. Back on the road for a string of highly anticipated shows, Sommore will have fans rolling on the floor with her latest stand-up routine.

This was one of the best comedy show's I've seen in a while. The entertainment never stopped and the host kept the show rolling. Semmore was an absolutely outstanding headliner and I must say she truly is the Queen of Comedy holding it down right now.
This was a good show very funny! I really enjoyed Bruce Bruce and Somore was hilarious.
TuRae was a great "Intro Speaker" for all the comedians that came to the stage. I love Don "DC" Curry act especially about the "..take this job and stick up your ass..." Bruce Bruce is "Stupid" I love his sexual experience epsiodes. Sommore is a down to earth, real, and straight forward person. I love the way she express her love for "Rap Music" and learn to listen to the lyrics.
The event was so funny. They did an outstanding job and I just hated to see it end.
I just love Bruce Bruce. I wish he had stayed on longer. Sommore turned it out.
I have to say, all entertainers were great, especially BRUCE BRUCE!!! Sommore started out a little slow, then she blew the top off and had us laughing and cryiing.. Yes she is one of the great black female comedians who I would pay to see anytime. I hope Sommore and BRUCE BRUCE come back for another show in Jacksonville. From the start of the show, BRUCE BRUCE had us laughing and crying!!! This is the second show for us and we will continue to enjoy each event!!!

seeing all the acts that i have followed on Comic View and other comedy venues, i was so excited to finally see them live! it takes alot for me to laugh but they pulled it off my favorites were Bruce Bruce and of course, Sommore! DC Curry was not that funny but i got there a little late so didnt get to see the tail end of his! this was a nice show!
ALL THREE WERE VERY FUNNY AND WELL WORTH THE MONEY. I JUST WISH DC HAD BEEN ON LONGER, BUT OVER ALL VERY HAPPY WITH THE SHOW AND THE CONVENTION CENTER.
The show was so funny that I could not stop laughing.
The comedy show was very good and all the comedian did a very good job.
Really enjoyed DC Carter. He is an old school comedian .DL Hugley was great too. Sommore never change, too much talk about sex for me. Same for Bruce Bruce.
The comedy tour was the best comedy show I have ever been to. I laughed from start to finish. Sommore is my favorite comedian, and she closed out the show with everyone dying of laughter. If the tour comes to town again, I will definately pay to see it again.

Enjoyed Sommore. The parking at the hyatt was horrible. Leaving the event was longer than the event. But, well worth it! I'd do it all over again just to laugh at Sommore and see her live!
The show was simply superior!!! The venue could have been better...The comedians provided A+ work.

I thought it was an amazing show. This blend of talents provided a chemistry second to none. The mutal respect.for one another show in their performance. If it comes to your city don't miss it, laughter is truely good for the soul.
The show exceeded my expectations! The comedians were so funny, I was in pain from laughing so hard! I would recommend this to everyone and would not think twice about seeing it again!
