    Solange hurt my feelings

by UnhappySolangeFan on 10/6/17Radio City Music Hall - New York

Waited from 8:30 until 10:15 for solange. Three less than stellar opening acts. I finally had to leave without seeing Sol, because I only had a sitter until 11:30pm and 1 hour commute. Thanks a lot for nothing!

Very misleading.... I came from Philadelphia to see the concert and because of the misleading time I had to leave before solange otherwise I would have missed the last train back to Philadelphia.

    Fewer opening acts, more Solange

by Yourusernamehasbeentaken on 10/5/17Radio City Music Hall - New York

Once Solange came on, after nearly three hours of opening acts, her show was phenomenal. The 2 3/4 hour wait for her to finally come out was unacceptable, especially for a 50 minute show.

    Disappointed

by Godcindy on 10/5/17Radio City Music Hall - New York

While I love Solange and her music (new and old) I was really disappointed in her level of professionalism. There were 3 opening acts - I've never experienced that, even with top billing performing artists. While the show started at 8pm on a Monday she didn't make it out until 10:45/11pm! Many of the folks there left and with good reason...it turned into a 4 hour ordeal. The show itself was good but personally, not worth me waiting for 3 hours.

    Let Down By Solange

by drobi392 on 10/5/17Radio City Music Hall - New York

Solange missed the mark getting her audience in full anticipation mode of what was to come with her performance. The opening acts either lulled the crowd to sleep with spa music or pounded noise into your head like an 80's rock band. The opening acts took up nearly three hours of the show. Did I mention it was a Monday night? I was in a sour mood at this point of the Solange experience. At 10:45p Solange glided onto the stage looking angelic as ever. Oh no that was her background singer that looks and is dressed exactly like her. Confused at times but I just listened and sung along to the songs I knew from her masterful made album. By 11:30p I threw in the towel on my evening and left before the show was over extremely disappointed.

3 hours of waiting for an hour of music

by emmeriffic on 10/3/17Radio City Music Hall - New York City

I was beyond disappointed in Solange. Sure, she's a great vocalist and the entire set was magical, beautiful, and well-staged, but none of this could make up for the three-hour wait. On the ticket, it said the show started promptly at 8 PM. I knew there were two "special guests" – or what I assumed to be openers. On top of those two performers, there was ANOTHER opener. THREE openers that each performed for nearly an HOUR. That's THREE HOURS of waiting before she even stepped foot on stage. By the time she decided to dignify the audience with her presence, it was 10:45. She played for maybe an hour. I didn't pay $70 to see three hours of experimental jazz openers. I paid to see Solange and barely even saw her perform in comparison. On top of this, it was a Monday night. The vibe was completely ruined by her decision to play at 10:45. The woman next to me brought her 12-year-old daughter for NJ for her first concert experience and she fell asleep. It was so disappointing.

Cool Vibe...Once it finally started :-/

by Neiasosweet on 10/3/17Radio City Music Hall - New York

Concert started at 8pm. Solange didn't come out until 10:40. We spent more time waiting for her to come out than her actual performance. I have to give props she did her thing. Wouldn't go to another one of her concerts. Radio City popcorn was stale and the drinks were watered down.

    Solange Slays as Usual

by idigjigga on 10/3/17Radio City Music Hall - Manhattan

**Heads Up** The only reason I knocked a star off is because she didn't come on until 10:45 at Radio City Hall. The concert was supposed to start at 8 but I usually give about an hour/hour and a half for the opening acts. 10:45 on a Monday night is wayyyy too late. Sorry girl, I'm old and I've got work in the morning. We didn't get home till about 1:00... As for the rest of her set, amazing but wish it could have been longer. She only played short segments of her Seat at the Table songs and overall the concert only ran an hour. Her moves were fun, the choreography was great, the instruments were awesome, the production set amazing. She even talked to the crowd and sounded genuinely moved by the reception. She even managed to get all the hipsters up during Losing You and Dont Touch My Hair. All in all, highly recommended and fun performer.

    Solange was everything and more

by Elleizee on 10/2/17Orpheum Theatre - Boston

This album, A Seat at the Table, was unbelievable. Solange is talented and has such stage presence. Loved when she danced in the audience to "F.U.B.U."

    by QueenM12 on 10/1/17Orpheum Theatre - Boston

Imagine looking at a beautiful piece of artwork and being completely stumped by the artist's immense creativity and story behind the piece. You stare at the piece loving everything about it. Now, imagine that piece of artwork coming to life. That's Solange. Her music, voice, writing, movements are all proof of her true artistry. I would see her again in a heartbeat.

The Solange Concert was fun. She has a lot of energy on stage. Glad the price was $$25. Anything above would be too much. I wish she would have played her old songs she mostly catered to her new songs.
