A major punk band for over two decades, Social Distortion came out of Los Angeles's active hardcore scene of the late '70s and early '80s. Their first album, Mommy's Little Monster, appeared in 1983 and featured the song "Another State of Mind," which aired as one of a few punk videos on mid-'80s MTV. Since then, Social Distortion have further developed their mix of punk and rockabilly with such songs as "Ball and Chain," "Bad Luck" and "Reach for the Sky." To this day, Social Distortion remain one of punk's most exciting and vital bands. Over the course of their career, Social Distortion have brought many venues to capacity, like Observatory North Park and the Mission Ballroom.

It was a great time there brought back memories from 25-30 years ago. Good people were there. The outside venue was very nice in Charleston, South Carolina and the band played great. Social D was who I was there to see.

Great show, as usual from BR, but getting to see Social D after listening to them for 30 years was incredible!! Still cant believe they have never toured!! Love Crimes was excellent as well!! Nice venue too
I grew up in So Cal and have seen Social D many times. Musically they still sound amazing and have great stage presence. So good to see Mike Ness doing what he loves after beating Cancer. I hope to catch them again the next chance I get.
As Mike said. Truly awesome show from bands I grew up with. As someone old enough to be eligible for AARP, I was amazed to see all of young fans and the great community old punks still turning out for a unique tour. Thanks to Social Distortion, Bad Religion, and Love Crimes -you guys were great!
All 3 bands were fun I’d never heard Mike Ness’ sons band before Bad Religion played nothing but favorites and Mike Ness seems to have recovered nicely from throat cancer and sounded great
The Coca Cola Roxy is a awesome venue! The show was AMAZING! Bad Religion and Social Distortion really rocked the house!
The venue was fun because It was nice to be outside, but other places have better sound quality. I thought Bad religion (who opened for social Distortion) was much better than Social Distortion was. Social Distortion's set was not as smooth and "tight". Still a good concert, but not sure I would go to see social Distortion again.
Social Distortion and Bad Religion killed it on stage, bringing back all the feels, especially with Mike Ness back in action. But man, the event setup was a mess. Picture this: a cramped parking with trees and totems blocking the view, and don't even get me started on the beer situation. Waiting 40 minutes just for a brew? That's a buzzkill. Despite the chaos, the bands rocked so hard it almost made up for the mess. Almost.
I love Social Distortion and have seen them at least a dozen times. I traveled from Georgia for this show and was seriously disappointed that they played an hour with no encores. Seriously, Mike ?
