Don’t walk, don’t run, speed run to get tickets to this show! Robert and band bring Neil Diamond back to the stage like no other performer. If you love Neil, you’ll love Robert. As someone who saw many, many Neil concerts, I am so very grateful that this band got it right. Save some tickets for me Robert….I’m a fan!!!
I was a little skeptical at first, but bought the tickets anyway. It was amazing! We had such a good time. I grew up listening to Neil Diamond as my mother was a huge fan. Unfortunately she is no longer with us, but the day before the show would have been her birthday. I thought it was a bit of an omen so I bought the tickets. I would see this again and again. The musicians were incredible- dead on. Robert sounds almost exactly like Neil which lent that much more credibility to the show. I would highly recommend for Neil fans young and old. So good...so good...so good!!
Good sound personal banter and timeless music Kodak hall great venue
When I was asked how I liked the performance my reply was “it was so good” then I realized that phrase was in the title of the show and they were right! It was!!!!
The show was Awesome. Felt like Neil Diamond was there himself. Great showmanship, kept the audience signing and dancing. The band was fantastic. I recommend this show to anyone who is a Neil Diamond fan or even if not. We will go again.
Great band and great singer. Kept everyone entertained and engaged the audience with humor and history about Neil Diamond
I was so impressed with this show. The band was excellent and the Neil Diamond singer was amazing. I was singing & dancing in my seat . I really enjoyed the entire show.
First, the Kodak Center is a great Venue. Second, it was a great show! I’d see it again for sure.
We thoroughly enjoyed our evening! Good music and interesting trivia!
The Magnolia is a small venue so bands playing there need to adjust their sound accordingly. The band play soooo loud that I could not understand the singer! He sounded very garbled when he sang or spoke. I was very disappointed because it could have been such a nice show
So Good, the Neil Diamond Experience was great; but, unfortunately, the misrepresentation of the concert start time by the Magnolia was not. Tickets showed a 6:30 start time. The venue; however, intended it to start at 7:30 all along. Even the headliner mentioned they expected to start the concert at 6:30 and had to kill time. Having a crowd filled with mostly seniors wait, standing around until 6:30, only to be let in to sit for another hour was inconsiderate, painfully uncomfortable and unacceptable. The Magnolia should also reassess their food/drink policy in the concert hall. A woman two rows ahead of me, attempting to sit after placing her drink in the cup holder, spilled her drink on the patron sitting next to her. Then two seats over from me, another woman spilled her large drink, necessitating the floor being mopped. Later, the person behind me spilled their drink, making a sticky wet mess under my seat. Luckily, I had my purse on my lap instead of on the floor, or it would have been damaged. With three major spills in such close proximity, I can imagine the mess throughout the theater. People should be able to get by for two hours with just bottled water, if needed. Then again, making them sit around for an hour waiting for a concert to start, only encourages more food and drink purchases.
Robert Neary has perfected the Neil Diamond experience.. He is 2nd to none!!!!! With his acting and singing history this shows how he has created a perfect professional tribute to Neil Diamond. It was a truly awesome show I will be telling everyone about it!!!
It was an easy entry, calm, quiet, peaceful, beautiful surroundings. Plenty of parking. Staff was very friendly efficient and courteous. The band was off the charts the horn section the people on guitar and of course Neil Diamond. The gentleman had great trivia. He had the moves like Neil Diamond he sounded like him. He looked like him and he was fun. They were a great group super wonderful night, we highly recommend on a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being fantastic. We would recommend it at a 10.
The last 5 times, the sound is not monitored well, music is too loud and doesn't allow the vocals to be heard.
A lot of people were Thurned off by the fact that the tickets said 6:30 start time, but the seating was roped off til 6:40. Those who got there early were forced to stand for way too long (especially the seniors). When the concert Began it””””istlwas hard to hear the main singer as the sound engineers had the horn section so loud they drowned out Rob Garrett. At intermission we asked the ushers to pass on our complaints, and it was a little better in the second half, but still not right. We came to hear the Neal Diamond vocal songs, not just the horns. Will think twice about going to this venue again!
I really enjoyed the band and Robert’s singing. I also enjoyed Robert’s interaction with the audience and Neil Diamond trivia and facts, which is something you don’t usually get with a concert. Highly recommend!
1. The time on the tickets was 6:30 PM and hundreds of people arrived around 6:00PM thinking the show started at 6:30 only to be told that 6:30 was the time that the theater would open but the show would start at 7:30. Even the performers commented that they were ready to go for a 6:30 start. 2. The sound level was WAY too loud, especially the band level. On many songs the band was so loud one could not hear the singer. Many people left at intermission.
The sound was horribly mixed - drums and keyboards were loud, making the vocals unrecognizable. People in the crowd yelled it to the lead singer, but he didn't understand. We could understand the melody, but not make out the actual words. Ended up leaving after intermission because it got louder and the vocals were drowned out.
The concert was great. I’m so happy to be there. Hopefully they come back soon.
