What an amazing piece of theater! Every detail is stunning. Don't miss Company XIV!
I love the show. artistic, modern way! Love the stage, costumes....
The show was very well done. I didn't really know what to expect but it wasn't what I thought but it was really really good! I would def go again for their other shows. The dancers and singers are excellent! Only downside is their bar is expensive and limited! They should have a price list up.... def ask before you buy!
Very different but thoroughly entertaining. Not for the faint of heart.
What an awesome show! A must see! It was way more than I expected! It kept my eyes glued to the stage. It's so entertaining and a smorgasbord of theater, dance and music goodness!!!
Wow! Another high fashion, art house extravaganza from Company XIV. Laura Careless' turn as the evil queen is breathtaking, heartbreaking and hilarious. The whole company is so crazy talented. Pianists, opera singers, aerial, tumbling, circus. And what I wouldn't give to meet Austin McCormick, the wizard behind the curtain and brainchild of it all. Thank god for XIV!
Show was outstanding!! Very entertaining. Actors and actresses are so talented. Pretty cool video element to the show too.
XIV has once again out performed themselves. I always find myself on the edge of my seat excited to see what they will do next. GO!
OMG. SNOW WHITE WAS INCREDIBLE. WHAT A BEAUTIFUL COMBINATION OF ELEMENTS. CIRCUS, DANCE, COSTUMING ALL SUPERB. DON'T MISS THIS AMAZING SHOW....
This show is gorgeous, haunting and true art. Company XIV is not the be missed!
Unfortunately the New York Times review hit it spot on for this show: lacking a sense of humor or style, the first long act felt like a trip to a skid row dentist. It's too bad, because Act Two was funny, polished, and, dare I admit it, classy. I can't see much of a future for this company as it all seemed quite repetitive and one dimensional. But prior show reviews were positive so maybe there's hope. I wish them well but won't be buying a ticket to any future show.
Having seen the Monte Carlo ballet troupe's Cinderella the nite b4 at the City Centre, it was a stark contrast and disappointment this subject companys production of Snow White. It wasn't ballet at all, but more so of something like a high school production of rocky horror ... or a grander scale of the l.e.s. The Box's cheap shock of transsexualism to a captive audience that expected an artistic delivery of some sort.
As always Company XIV put on a terrific combination of dance, song, burlesque, great staging - and acrobatics!
Silly, stupid and not worth paying for, the best part was the intermission .....which gives you a chance to leave
I've seen all three shows the other two were amazing but this one I did not like. The story of snow white was all over the place and they started talking in German I do not speak German so I cannot relate to this. The costumes were amazing and their acrobats were phenomenal but the storyline really lacked.
It is very specific. Lots of partial nudity, very gay.
In December, came and saw Cinderella by the same company and it was INCREDIBLE. Would give 5 plus stars. The Snow White performance was less than mediocre in every way... script, music, performance, everything.
What could be better than dancing, singing, barely costumed performers doing justice to the original intent of the Brothers Grimm? Well, nothing, actually. This intimate theater is perfect for a performance that includes trapeze and aerial hoop (of which I would have liked to have seen more, but that's just me) and a masterful turn on the Cyr wheel. For pure gender equality, I do love a man in high heels!
Great night out. Fun, exiting, sexy. A modern day version of snow white. Dance, ballet, burlesque, circus. Cool music. This show has it all, i would recommend it, but maybe to much near nudity for some people.
Must see! The show is amazing, the cast is very professional and talented.
