About

After a 2013 trip to Jamaica, rap legend Snoop Dogg returned to the game as Snoop Lion, ending a two-year hiatus from recording with the release of Reincarnated, his 12th studio album. At his 2013 live concerts, Snoop treated ticket buyers to his signature smooth flow, pumping audiences up and keeping them on their feet with extended sets of his greatest hits alongside recent favorites like "Sensual Seduction" and "Wet." Reincarnated has earned critical acclaim as a brilliant transition from Snoop Dogg and hip-hop to Snoop Lion and reggae, and saw Snoop collaborate with a wide variety of artists, including Miley Cyrus on "Ashtrays and Heartbreaks" and Drake on "No Guns Allowed."

Snoop has sold over 30 million albums worldwide since his debut in 1993, when he first collaborated with record producer Dr. Dre on his debut album Doggystyle.  The album was an overnight success, landing at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and producing some of the most iconic rap hits of the decade, including "What's My Name" and "Gin and Juice." The two would continue to work together for the next two decades, resulting in a series of critically acclaimed albums including The Doggfather, Ego Trippin', and Malice in Wonderland. With 15 Grammy nominations under his belt, Snoop has become one of rap music's most notable figures, and one of the top sellers in the genre. Snoop Lion's Reincarnated tour in 2014 will feature shows all over the world, including California, New Zealand and Australia.  Fans can catch the freshly reincarnated Snoop on tour in 2014; his name may have changed, but his ability to put on one of the most entertaining shows in music hasn't.

    Snoop was incredible!

by Anonymous on 9/3/13Poolside at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas - Las Vegas

My son and I went early and waited to be 1st in line and boy was it worth it. We were able to stand against the rail right in front of Snoop. One of the best experiences of my life. He was unbelievable! He sang all his best stuff! His crew and dancers were outstanding. We will never forget it!

    BUYER BEWARE!!! SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!

by Maddmartian on 8/28/13Roseland - Portland

Snoop Dogg, or Lion or whatever, in Portland was disgraceful. I had read previous reviews about his late performances before the show and was ready to wait a little while, but what Snoop proceeded to do was unbelievable. After his openers Snoop made us wait for 2 hours and 5 minutes, no exaggeration. After the long wait he "graced" us with his presence for a measly 30 minutes, again no exaggeration. To add insult to injury, he dipped out halfway through his last song so he didn't have to deal with a very disappointed crowd. If you are planning on going to see Snoop, DON'T!!! Huge waste of many and a bigger disappointment. Lost a long time fan here.

Amazing Party with Snoop Dogg aka Snoop Lion!

by ToxicRat on 5/27/13Mandalay Bay Beach - Las Vegas

I am not too sure what the other reviewers are talking about... Snoop Dogg aka Snoop Lion's show was amazing! Three of us came to Las Vegas for a bachelor party and got tickets to the show on the beach. Snoop came on stage 1 hour past the time he should have, and only played for an hour, but the show was amazing. I highly recommend going to see him live and if you can... on a beach! Only played one Snoop Lion song but really got the party jumping with his other Snoop Dogg hits. Go!

    SnoopLion...bringing conscious back!

by DC5MIA on 5/27/13Mandalay Bay Beach - Las Vegas

Snoop was surprisingly punctual and the party kicked off right at 10pm. Opening up with some roots reggae, Snoop quickly reminded the crowd that his music has expanded and diversified alongside of his own spiritually conscious journey, with his revelation of Haile Selassie, Jah Rastafari as the new focus in his musical career. Snoop didn't waste any time flipping back to 1993, as he performed all the classics we know and love. The show was definitely brought out its flare of West Coast pimp-a-delic flavor when Snoop highlighted Suga Free for a few of his jiggy jams. Snoop closed the show with a heartfelt performance of Young, Wild and Free, with the audience singing acapella first then Snoop bringing in the beat. Before Snoop left the stage fans were blessed with a large bag of medicinal botanicals as Bob Marley's Jamming was a perfect theme to outro...

I have been a Snoop Dogg fan from the beginning. He started out the set with a new song. I was initially concerned that I would be stuck with Snoop Lion. He gave us all Snoop Dogg!!! It was a great show. He kept us moving with all of the old favorites.

    the worst

by lomodach on 4/23/13The Fillmore - San Francisco

paid way too much money to see Snoop in the first place, but was really disappointed when he: 1) didn't come on until 3 hours after doors opened, 2) played 0 Snoop Lion tracks, 3) about half of the songs played weren't even his, 4) only played for an hour. what a waste of money.

    Late and Short

by SARose on 4/22/13The Fillmore - San Francisco

Arrived early enough to enjoy the DJ but unaware that we would spend over 2.5 hours until Snoop decided to perform. When he did come out on stage at 11:15pm he only performed for just over 1 hour. What a rip off! Over priced tickets for waiting around and than only an hour show.
