    Smothers Brothers Still Have It

by rrkatrina on 12/5/09IP CASINO RESORT AND SPA - Biloxi

I was skeptical about going, though I've been a fan since I was a child I was reminded by at least two people there I was "too young" to be a fan. However, the show was great, the due still have their magic and they did almost all new material, never seen before by me, even in the more recent clips. The only drawback was the venue, which had such narrow seats even thin patrons such as me felt crammed in and was rubbing elbows with those next to me.

    Great show

by bevyk on 12/5/09IP CASINO RESORT AND SPA - Biloxi

The Smothers Brothers put on a great show not only for those of us who remember them in their "hay-day", but for anyone just discovering their varied talents. Their singing was great, the jokes just as funny as ever and the "yo yo man" was amazing. A great show for everyone, and the recorded clips of their history was very welcome as well.

Smothers Brothers were knee slapping funny!

by Wilseykid on 11/30/09King Center for the Performing Arts - Melbourne

Those who grew up in the 50s-70s remember the Smothers Brothers. They remain the most talented brother duo in history. From the opening of the show until the very end, Dick and Tom Smothers kept the audience in tears. These brothers have over 50 years in show business, and have lost nothing in their delivery or in their step. This is the second time I have seen the Smothers Brothers in six months or so. They are totally awesome with their unique sense of humor. George & Gracie Burns could not hold a candle to the Smothers Brothers. The show is children friendly with a very few explicitives exchanged, and the humor is better than any performance I have ever seen. If you are lucky enough for these fellows to visit your area, order your tickets quickly. They will sell out!!

Nostalgic and a lot of fun. I was amazed at what good shape the Brothers were in. They are still funny after all these years and classic entertainers. My wife and I truly enjoyed the show. My mom knew that I always liked them best!

    The Smothers Brothers are icons.

by Tonedeb on 11/30/09King Center for the Performing Arts - Melbourne

As a fan of theirs from the sixties, I was very happy to be able to see them in concert. Their comic timing is perfection. In addition to their perfectly blended vocals, they play of each other's strengths with ease. I could see their show again tonight, it was so entertaining.

    Smothers Brothers for All Ages

by godpanda on 11/30/09King Center for the Performing Arts - Melbourne

As I walked with my aunt into the King Center I noticed I was in a much younger age group than the majority of the audience. Admittingly, I was only a year old when their TV Show was cancelled but I had seen some of their work here and there on TV. My aunt, who remembered their show, thoroughly enjoyed the show and even though a few of their jokes were predictable, I enjoyed it as much as she did. It was an afternoon of good, clean family comedy. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy Larry The Cable Guy, Bob Saget, Jeff Dunham and Dave Chappelle as much as the next person but it is nice to know that there are still comedians out there that can make you laugh without throwing in the F-bomb in every sentance. Their age never showed through and their chemistry together is still on the money. Worth the affternoon if you get the chance to see them.

    Loved comedy, Hated Yo-Yo Man

by Cirengil on 10/30/09Nokia Theatre At Grand Prairie - Grand Prairie

I don't understand why a duo with the amount of material they could preform would waste time playing with a Yo-Yo. Children don't go to see the Smother's Brothers. Those who remember their biting satire go and expect to receive it in spades. I can understand that preforming for more than an hour can be difficult for men of their age, but spending 20 minutes doing Yo-Yo tricks, and not successfully, left me feeling cheated. When they were actually preforming, it was as if they still had a show on TV. The humor was current but not offensive. You would not have to know who they were to have found them funny and very entertaining.

    Smothers Brothers was hilarious!

by nowar on 10/26/09Nokia Theatre At Grand Prairie - Grand Prairie

My husband and I took my mother to see the Smothers Brothers for her birthday. We all grew up watching their show every Sunday night and knew we would enjoy the show, but were thrilled to see that they still put on a great show! I know they are in their 70's, but they seem like they are 30-40 years younger in their energy and looks! The show took us back to a wonderful time, and we all laughed until we were crying. We feel so honored to have been part of this special night and to be able to see these wonderful guys in person!

    Took me back in time!

by Ticketsforus on 10/26/09Nokia Theatre At Grand Prairie - Grand Prairie

These two guys are as good or better than ever. They made the 90 minutes go by entirely too quickly. I'd like for it to be longer, and to hear them sing more songs. But, they did do the standup comedy that all have grown to love.

    Great Show!

by BigSfromBigD on 10/23/09Nokia Theatre At Grand Prairie - Grand Prairie

They were just as funny as they were on their show. The political material was minimal and funny. Rush might even have enjoyed the show. Yoyo Man was a hoot. Is it a Collie?

    Smothers Brothers

by Tomcat01 on 10/23/09Nokia Theatre At Grand Prairie - Grand Prairie

Great show. They showed me just how old we ALL are. Thought it was a little short. They seemed to pick on both political parties, yet expressed the type of views that got them in trouble in the 60's. I grew up in So Cal watching them and always thought them funny regardless. What was truly amazing was the fact that their voices hadn't waned one bit over the years. I would love to be a friend of theirs despite our political differences.
