Very enjoyable, would go again in a heartbeat. One of the best shows I have ever seen.
Every time I see Andre, I can tell he has grown musically, lyrically and personally. His music and his personable stage presence make his performances a good time. And while I wasn't familiar with Euge Groove, I enjoyed the group immensely. Both performances exuded pure talent along with formal training for a fun evening.
Euge Groove & Andre Delano were great performers. STL is in need of more Smooth Jazz events in the city. Event like this is very much missed.
Euge was HUGE! It was funky, soulful and chillin. Amazing show. My wife and I loved it. I put him on as soon as I got back to the car.
All three shows were remarkable. impossible to say which was best. Great to see such great artists back to back to back.
Andre Delano has a dynamite voice , with rock solid instrumentals combined with a down home personality. He is the good kid next door. Euge Groove loaded the bases and hit a grand slam every time he stepped up to the plate. He can play the sax! The muscians in the band made it all happen with Euge out front sweatting his guts out. The best show I have seen in quite sometime!
Euges Groove was in a word amazing. He really knows how to make a sax sing. One of the best performers i've seen that can get a crowd up and moving. His interaction with the audience was something you have to see to believe.
Andre Delano was fantastic. I was amazed at how his (St. Louis) backing band Good 4 the Soul supported him. He is talented and Charismatic. We arrived at the show a little late expecting an opening act and unfortunately we missed some of his set. When Euge Groove came out there was an energy and magic missing. He was very vanilla and seemed overly confident. He did not interact with his band (except his guitar player) and was just sort of lame. He is technically proficient, but not a great entertainer. The Pageant was more than 1/2 full which was surprising as well.
This was one of the best concerts I've ever been to! Was very worth the 5 hour drive from Chicago to St. Louis to experience this. All four musicians were phenomenal and incredibly talented. Not a dull moment the whole evening.
I've seen these artists on past Smooth Jazz Cruises and their performances were A+ each time. This performance was no exception...it was FANTASTIC and left me wanting more. Please keep them coming Mr. Lazaroff!!!
