Good concert, not great. McGrath is a great showman. We all liked Gin Blossums the best, then Sugar Ray, then Smash Mouth. The opening bands were good as well. Fun time, just a litle above average concert.
Really entertaining! Played to the crowd and even allowed members of the audience to join them on stage and dance. Good family entertainment!
Smash Mouth at Four Winds was a great show...inviting the kids on stage and letting people be involved in the show was very cool. I have been to hundreds of shows and thought these guys were great. Would see again!!
Great venue, fan friendly high energy band. They'll keep you on your feet
Band sounded ok. A lot of feedback on the mic so it was hard to understand the lead singer when he talked. Liked that they included the front row up on stage.
Loved the concert, loved the venue, loved meeting the band and they were so cool
I wish people would have sat down at least once in awhile. Lead singer even asked everyone to "get your butts in the seats" or he was leaving (in jest, of course). The concert was really a good time -- not too long or short. Lead singer really enjoyed children apparently, as he even held one boy for a bit while entertaining. He was a bit of a comedian, which also made it a bit different; alot of fun! Spotlight roving bothersome; right in our eyes; had to shut them alot.
The crowd started out a little quiet, but it didn't take long for the band to get everyone on their feet and dancing. The sound was fantastic, and the guys really seemed to be having fun up there. You forget how much you heard their songs on the radio until you hear a string of their hits and remember just how fun and danceable they are. Honestly one of the funnest shows I've ever been to, a party band on the level of the B-52s! If you get a chance, go see them!
Concert was O.K. Wouldn't recommend it unless you know many of their songs, for the first few songs most people were sitting down, they couldn't keep the crowds attention, but they did pull kids from the front rows and have them up on stage. People periodically sat down throughout the concert also.
Smash Mouth was excellent! They haven't lost a step amd play all the old favorite. this show is very entertaining and they have great interaction with the crowd.
My wife dragged me to this concert. I wasn't too keen on it at all. Show started a bit late. So I was all set for a crappy experience. Well, these guys swung me the other way very quickly. I really liked how they involved the kids and brought them up on stage for a memorable experience. Though not 100% my type of music, i would go again, and I guess I'll be buying some of their cds, so I can remember the concert and the experience. I really enjoyed the concert! I enjoyed the group. I've already told a number of friends about our great experience there. Thanks Smashmouth guys!
Great concert! The group interacted with the crowd and was so unlike other groups that are so full of themselves. I would definitely recommend Smash Mouth for an awesome time!
The music was good. Bad thing was all the old people who got up and walked out during the concert.
They came on stage 15 minutes late and then they asked the fans to 'come up front'. Those of us who purchased tickets to be near the stage ended up with people in front of us. The band really should apologize to those of us who purchased tickets to be near the stage. The show wasn't too bad but the music is more appropriate for teens, not people who like rock. The band (Cherry Gun) in the casino's lounge was much better.
They came on stage 15 minutes late and later during the show they told the fans to come up front (in front of the stage). Those of us who purchased tickets to be near the stage ended up with a large crowd between us and the stage. While the show wasn't too bad, they were not my type of music, which I have dubbed Disney Rock. We left before the show ended and went to the Classic Lounge where we listened to the Cherry Gun. I enjoyed them a lot.
Only an hour long - I thought for sure we would get at least a two hour show. They sounded good but it was not very entertaining.
The band was good, lots of energy. My seats were decent. I liked the small venue. The only thing was the concert was kind of short, especially since there was no warm up band, but the tickets were cheap, so that's understandable. Only one member of the band was introduced, which was a bit disappointing.
Smashmouth was a fun band to listen to. Very energetic. Enjoyed our front row seats until the band invited the girls in the audience to come up and dance. Our great seats turned into hearing the band and the only view we had was other peoples butts in our faces. We were a bit disappointed when the band stopped playing after about 70 minutes. At first I thought it was an intermission until I saw everyone leaving. Shortest concert I have ever seen. I was impressed by the security though. The were very alert.
They are good performers and got into the crowd. My big let down was they were its all of a sudden done, they sang a song yelled "good seeing you" and walked off. It had been about 75 mins and that was it . We kinda looked at each other and everyone really thought ok intermission and stayed but then they starte breaking down the stage. No coming back for one more song but then again the crowd didn't make alot of noice to get them too because they were breaking down the stage.they were fun while they were there.
