I've seen Kinky Boots on Broadway with Billy Porter and Wayne Brady. The Slow Burn troupe are incredibly talented and I couldn't have been more pleased to have the show done so well locally. I'm going again with a group of friends, happy to see it twice.
Fantastic show with extremely talented singers and musicians. The energy never dropped, the venue is just perfect to enjoy this gem of a play. This is NOT the traveling Broadway show, this is a local theater company that deserves all our support: and believe me, they did a phenomenal job! What a joy!
Overall I thoroughly enjoyed the performance. There were a few missteps along the way- forgotten sing lines, an actor tripping, dancing not in sync, but they didn’t take away from the show.

This show was spectacular. It was not only entertaining it was educational and emotional….. The singing and the showmanship of the cat was really terrific..
The performance, and the performers, were TOP NOTCH!!!! Enjoyed Kinky Boots tremendously - perhaps even more than the Broadway performance I saw 6 years ago!!!! Everyone seemed so thrilled to be back at the theatre - from performers to audience to ushers!!!! The energy and vitality of the evening was incredible!!!!
From the moment Kinky Boots began, the audience was "in tune" with the characters and the story. The acting, singing, dancing, and posturing were all 100% plus. This production company did an excellent, Broadway-worthy presentation of one of the very best musicals to ever hit the stage. Bravo to all.

Fantastic! It was a perfect production. The actors were marvelous, costumes beautiful, scenery amazing. Worth seeing many times , not just once. So much talent in one play. Thank you for bringing it to us. B Paris

What an amazing Sunday! Matinee show was sadly not full, what a shame, because everything was just so well organized, will call was efficient, security, on pointe, ushers helpful and attentive! The Amaturo in my opinion is a much better venue than Au Rene and the show... the show was spectacular, great GREAT performances, my daughter and I enjoyed it very much, thanks!
From beginning to end, the music had you jumping in your seat. The lead, " Lola"was exceptional. The dancers were incredible and extremely talented. My entire party of six loved the show. The entire cast didn't miss a beat. It was an afternoon well spent.
Elijah, who plays Lola is the worth the price of admission! The whole cast was fabulous! The sets were wonderful! My favorite show from Slow Burn yet!
The theater itself reminds me of London theaters, small and more intimate. Not a bad seat in the house. The covid check in was handled well. The show was fabulous fun. I'm so glad the theater is back!
This performance was amazing! The cast is very talented. Lola stole the show. I highly recommend this show with this theater company.
This was a beautiful production, that was made great by Elijah Word’s Lola. My partner and I found ourselves inspired and uplifted by the remarkable cadence, emotional honesty, and the powerful tenderness Word brought to this iconic role. We couldn’t stop talking about it! Love Slow Burn and can’t wait for their next production!
Easy to purchase tickets. I had to go to will call, and it was fast. Seats were fantastic. Show was great!
