SLEEPING WITH SIRENS IN CONCERT:

Post-hardcore rockers Sleeping with Sirens are masters of contrast, and their dynamic live shows are the best way to experience their staggering sonic range. The band's hard-hitting yet melodic sound is a juggernaut of blistering guitars and breakneck drums, but the earth-shaking onslaught of propulsive anthems like "If I'm James Dean, Then You're Audrey Hepburn" is tempered by the helium-high tenor of lead singer Kellin Quinn. It's an otherworldly voice unlike any other, and Quinn gives it room to breathe in concert, nailing acrobatic vocal passages while thrashing around the stage like a hurricane with a mic. The whirlwind of energy he unleashes is matched blow for blow by the rest of the band, who take things to the next level with scorching guitar riffs, chugging bass, and galloping drums that leave ticket buyers thoroughly rocked and ready for more.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Sleeping with Sirens formed in Orlando, FL in the late '00s and found a fast following thanks to their aggressive yet accessible sound and the singular leggero tenor voice of frontman Kellin Quinn. The band was picked up by metalcore label Rise Records, and in 2010 they dropped their full-length debut album With Ears to See and Eyes to Hear. The following year they released their sophomore album Let's Cheers to This to a Top 5 spot on the Hard Rock chart, and in 2013 they cracked the Top 3 on the mainstream Billboard 200 with their third album Feel. That record sold nearly 200,000 copies, earning them a strong overseas following and drawing them out for extensive touring including the 2013 Vans Warped Tour. Following a 2014 tour with Pierce the Veil, Sleeping with Sirens left Rise Records and signed with Epitaph. They made their debut on the label in 2015 with Madness, another commercial success that added high-octane tracks like "Kick Me" and "We Like it Loud" to the band's livewire sets on tour.

    Absolutely Amazing

    by Jennavieve <3 on 7/28/22

I went to go see sleeping with sirens for the first time in Atlanta, GA on july 26th 2022 and it fulfilled everything 11 y/o me could of imagined and more. With me being 21 now and still listening to the genre heavily, finally being able to go to my first emo concert with my spouse felt absolutely surreal. The energy and love kellin and the band had for the crowd when they were preforming was indescribable, being on the floor was indescribable. i literally cried from happiness while pressed up against TONS of people i don’t know the names of, sweating terribly, definitely dehydrated not wanting to lose our spot in the crowd, while screaming the songs the younger version of myself clung onto. i never felt so comfortable being uncomfortable. acknowledging your inner child is so important, when they were on that stage and when we were in the crowd it was like a secret conversation with my younger self with how proud i would of been with the person i am now, how am still here, how i am now genuinely happy & loved, and now i am living in this concert for this moment just for her. if you ever had an emo phase and are debating seeing sw/s in concert, DO IT. you will not regret it, and your inner child will thank you for a lifetime. shout out to my significant other for always supporting and joining my self healing journey, while gravitating & connecting to the music just like i do. thank you to the band for preforming their hearts out still 10 years later and leaving a piece of their heart in everyone in that crowd that night. and finally thank you to every single person who reads this, just know i’m sending you my love, always. <3

    Totally Worth It!!!

by Renee on 7/28/22The Fillmore Charlotte - Charlotte

This was the best and craziest show I’ve ever been too! Had a great view of the stage, but that comes with a price of being squished by people and having them try to get in front of you. Sleeping with Sirens put on an amazing show and it’s easy to see why fans still love them after all these years. I would definitely go to another concert!

by Lucifer on 7/24/22Palladium Times Square - New York City

I went to the concert with three of my friends and honestly this was an amazing experience. I really recommend anyone who likes rock in general to go here and it was such a crazy feeling to finally meet Kellen Quinn and the rest of the band. Honestly, I can't wait for the next time they come to New York. I look forward to it!

My favorite band — they never disappoint!

    by Jay on 7/23/22

I’ve seen SWS in concert three times: once at Warped Tour 2016, once at Welcome To Rockville last year, and once on tour this past Thursday. SWS is always WILD in the best way. You can tell they all love performing, and they’re so fun to watch. Not to mention that their music is even more amazing in person. Kellin’s voice is truly breathtaking, Justin always kills it on bass, and Jack and Nick always blow me away with their guitar skills. I’ve seen them three times, and I intend to see them as often as I can in the future :)

    Loved it

    by C on 7/22/22

Sws was amazing! My first ever rock concert & I was new to the crowd surfing and mosh pits. I seen many people get hurt while others were crowd surfing. I was in general admission, expect people to be sweating and pushing you. People were throwing drinks and smoking. If that bothers you, get a seat not GA. FOR THE FIRST ROCK CONCERT I ENJOYED EVERY MINUTE. 10/10!!!!!!

Music, hell yes! Venue, not so much

by Ash on 7/18/22House of Blues Chicago - Chicago

The music was awesome for this show. Don Broco & Sleeping with Sirens were on point & rocked their sets! Mixed drinks were reasonably priced as well. My issues is with the venue. I bought balcony tickets because I’m short and wanted to have a good view to watch and get pictures. I struggled to see most of the time because they had bar stools at the balcony ledge for reserved seating. I could barely see the stage in real time- it was a lot of tip-toe stretching so I could see. We couldn’t go to the main floor because by that time it was packed. The venue should have informed GA Balcony ticket holders there would be reserved seating (which took away space for at least 20 people to stand). Also, my email said small bags were allowed, yet I had to check in my mini backpack because it wasn’t clear. My brother had to throw out his vape as well, even though I saw handfuls of people vaping. He wouldn’t have brought if it he had known it wasn’t allowed. For events at this venue, there needs to be better communication on what’s allowed in the venue.

So I know this is a review from a concert , which I’ve never attended to but when I was younger I was and still am a extreme fan of yours I love your music , it hits me in my heart but anyways when I was in 8th grade (2015) I almost went to one of your concerts. My parents where super strict so they were the reason I couldn’t go see you , I had my ticket and everything but sadly I couldn’t go :( till this day I am hoping you could pick San Antonio Texas as one of your tours so I can finally see you in person ♥️ It would mean the world to me and plenty of people honestly.
