The ballet was fantastic, the performance, the professionalism of dancers, the costumes, just fabulous! Somewhat long so we had to leave earlier with a 4 year old as I did not know the performance eill last about 2,5 hours including intermission. The theater is awesome, very beautiful inside. Horrible valley parking.
I never saw a live ballet before and am so happy I finally did. My wife and I had a wonderful afternoon and it was a great kick start to to the holidays. The dancers are so talented!
Venue is poor. The dancing is fair. The costumes are fair. Not recommended to anyone. Wait for Bolshoi Ballet from Russia at Metropolitan Opera House.
This was an awful experience. The 6'3 sound guy kept standing up through the performance blocking our view. The staff did everything possible to get the sound engineer from blocking our view, but because he was with the ballet company, it was hard for them to say anything. The ballet itself was boring and had very little to do with Disney's Sleeping Beauty. The dancers were out of sync and not very coordinated. My daughter was bored and we left early. She LOVES going the ballet and has been numerous times, and even she was disappointed.
I'm not a ballet afficiando (this being my third one), so technically i may not able to relate much as far as the proficiency of the dancers, but it was all done with preciseness and beauty.
I went to see the ballet with my best friend. We both enjoyed the performance and can't wait to see the next one.
The performance itself was very good. The only problem was with people who kept coming in 30 minutes after performance started. That was very annoying. The theater should have refused the entrance to those people until the second act.
The production was so beautiful. The characters were colorful and the costumes were ingenious. We will watch for the Russian National Ballet next year and look forward to their next performance here.
