Houston, we have a problem.
by T-rev on 11/10/25Revelry - KelownaRating: 4 out of 5As far as the bands go they were both excellent.
Jimi, the opening band was fantastic. They were very blues forward and Jimi has an amazing voice and they both can play a guitar! Great job, and I hope to hear much more from them.
They finished and had what I consider a relatively quick equipment switch over.
Now the Skydiggers.
They really are phenomenal, Andy’s voice has not let him down over the years. He has more energy than he should, (jealous.) They had a fantastic set and happily, included some oldies as well as new stuff!
My only complaint was the venue itself.
The Revelry lower bowl had reserved seating along the outer perimeter and the floor was left open. I’ve been to this venue before and there was seating on the floor as well, which left enough space for people to dance.
I know this is a small complaint but I feel that Revelry needs to consider their audience and know that not everyone wants to stand, dance for the entirety.
The upstairs was relatively ok but some of the older people who got to sit among the railing became annoyed if people impeded their view as you had to lean over railing a bit to see.
Other than these minor issues it was a fun night with some fantastic music!
