Sky Dancers Tickets

I bought a ticket not knowing what the show was about and was very moved by what I experienced. Not only was the art beautiful and powerful, but it helped me understand the long-reaching affect that colonialism has had on the Indigenous cultures of this land. The details are in the stories, not the history books we were made to study in school, and this is one of those stories. As a white person with a European lineage, it’s important to educate myself on the true history of the place I call home, and I believe that performances that tell stories like this, told by those that were affected by it, are one of several keys to fully understand the emotional impact that colonialism continues to have on our brothers and sisters of Indigenous backgrounds.

It was an amazing show, I loved it! It was so emotional and the dancers were excellent!

This was such a powerful performance which amazed us with so many different types of performance art. I cannot say enough about this show, a must watch!
