It started to go well for Sonny when he filtered out the noise and distraction of his world as a solo artist and started mining the ephemeral moments he had been sharing with friends in clubs and parties across the city he calls home since his mid-teen years. The restless, urgent and kaleidoscopic sounds of EDM and bass music had spoken to him for the best part of a decade, one day he just started talking back.
"Making music is the same as DJing," he offers. "You continue along the path that leaves you most inspired. When you think too much you put limits on what is possible, the best parts are always instinctual rather than something too considered or planned out."
Not going to lie the show was freaking awesome and I will have to say that it is one of the best live show some that I have seen besides Phil Collins and Genesis. Skrillex you are amazing and put on an amazing show by far!
Although i was expecting there to be one more artist playing, the show was amazing. DJ SNAKE was incredible and Skrillex put on a great show, with a ton of energy and heart stopping drops

In terms of DJ performances, Skrillex has set the bar high for his lighting and special effects. The music (for those who appreciate and accept the sounds emanating from electronic gizmos as music) was clear enough through my ear plugs - which I highly recommend. Sonny is a master of his craft and, though I'm not a fan of the frequent f* bombs, knows how to interact with his audience and give them an unforgettable experience.
The show was absolutely amazing! Skrillex was entertaining and kept me on my feet the entire time! The light show was abstract and different than any I've seen before. Everything went so well together that I was in awe!
The opening act was weak and way to long. DJ Snake got everyone pumped up though, and Skrillex was amazing. Only issue after opening set was how awful the people near me in the front were.
The opening acts were ok. DJ Snake was boring. just like listening to songs on the radio...but Skrillex was amazing!! So much fun.
Skrillex did not disappoint! After a great line up of openers, Skrillex kept all of us dancing our hardest the entire time. There was not one moment off, and it was amazing
The entire show was INSANE!!! Lights, lasers, bass, people stepping over people, etc. It was quite an experience. Most intense concert I've ever been to. The lineup was put together so well & the main act was epic. I'll definitely see Skrillex again for sure. No doubt I won't miss him next time he's in Buffalo.
Haven't seen this much excitement at a concert in a long time, it reminded me of a rave I went to ages ago. Skrillex did a nice set for the most part, save for 2 I thought were inappropriate due to language (rap mixes). The screen behind him with all the animations and such was entertainment in itself, loved the Steve Urkel bit. The 'spaceship' he was on was awesome.
The show was amazing, although the crowd was a bit young. The venue was not the best for an edm concert, but Skrillex performance and set was spectacular. I can't wait to see him again in September at Tomorrow World!
Got tickets for 3 teens and husband. Teens said it was "the best day of our lives" and husband said it was a really impressive show in every way. Unforgettable.
Amazing show....amazing venue. Securuty was great...parking great....very organized...the show was full if energy and light show was outstanding. Please bring Skrillex back again soon!!
Basically one giant party!! I was skeptical about paying money to see a DJ but he delivered. For one guy, he really knows how to amp up a crowd. The opening acts were good too, the downfall is that Skrillex only plays for an hour and a half.
The show started with What So Not spinning pretty quietly and eventually worked into DJ Snake who worked with the crowd and got everyone dancing. His set was really good and was a perfect opener for Skrillex. Skrillex set started with a giant Alien curtain and a countdown to "I'm a try it out." Count down ended and the curtain fell with clouds of smoke and lights. It was visually stimulating for sure and Sonny was in his mothership which eventually raised up. It was an intense show for sure, he worked the crowd and had an amazing set. I can't remember the last time I had that much fun at a show.
It's one thing to listen to Skrillex in your car, while at work or while working out.. But to see him live is a whole other experience.. I was first introduced to Skrillex in 2012 at a music festival, and ever since then I have been hooked. The bass literally shakes your soul. Also my favorite thing is that he perfectly seams in visual images (that are usually hilarious) and lights with his drops and the entire show is like an epic journey through your subconscious. No, I wasn't high on anything for the show as you may now assume.. although if I was who knows what I would be writing now.. and I love that with Skrillex you don't have to be under any influence to really enjoy it because he gets you into it with his showmanship and amazing beats it is impossible not to move your body along with it.. anyways I would highly recommend this show to anyone of any age, as it is a guaranteed good time.
Kickass show had so much fun. The lighting was awesome and the opening acts were also very good. Skrillex was very crowd interactive and his set list was awesome

My first Skrillex show and brought my kids. I was very impressed with how engaged he was with the crowd, the energy and all the new mash-ups and remixes he played just for this show! Also, I am now a fan of Dillon Francis!
