It started to go well for Sonny when he filtered out the noise and distraction of his world as a solo artist and started mining the ephemeral moments he had been sharing with friends in clubs and parties across the city he calls home since his mid-teen years. The restless, urgent and kaleidoscopic sounds of EDM and bass music had spoken to him for the best part of a decade, one day he just started talking back.
"Making music is the same as DJing," he offers. "You continue along the path that leaves you most inspired. When you think too much you put limits on what is possible, the best parts are always instinctual rather than something too considered or planned out."
Honestly, this concert was totally unforgettable. Mija and Skrillex were my two favorite DJs at the event. Mija had her thing going on which got me riled up and ready to rave. Then Skrillex coming out last, finishing strong. It felt like it was never going to end. It was 100% pure eargasms for the entire concert.
Amazing show, I loved all the cover bands as well. i would definitely attend again. Wish the tickets weren't 62$, would've preferred 40 at the most. Need a place to smoke cigarettes in my opinion or some kind of system to allow smokers a place to smoke. I tripped balls the whole show and the security and officers were super friendly while keeping the show under control. Great venue as well!
The show was great and the venue was awesome. The bad part was that if you didnt get there early enough you were not allowed on the 1st floor even if you paid GA. This was not posted up before the event. Which resulted in a lot of disappointed people who wanted to go down to the floor.
This was one of the best concerts I've ever been to. Skrillex as an artist I think is OK, not my favorite, but this concert was crazy. Definitely would recommend to anyone that likes any type of electronic music at all.
Just an amazing experience overall. I was surprised that he decided to play in Columbia in general but wow, even the bands before like GTA and Vindicta did a great job of bringing people up and entertained, slowly but surely increasing the volume and bass til it just got to Max settings when he came out, even just climbing on the table and jumping (simultaneously the fog machine shooting off more smoke effects) and performing all at once. Being in the front row, practically felt my body and the whole ground shake from the bass and treble and it felt so crazy awesome, definitely worth the money, felt as though I was on an awesome roller coaster for hours upon hours! 11 outta 10 would go again.
This was my first ever show and definitely not my last. Each act was DOPE with Skrillex doing what he does Best!
Was a good show and he always puts on a good event. Even if your not a huge fan, the display and show is enough to entertain almost anyone. But wasn't expecting him to come on as late as he did. He started around 1:30 AM
I have to say, this was a pretty amazing show. The music was fantastic, the visuals on the screens behind him, the smoke machines and the lasers all gelled expertly.
Skrillex had literally the best laser show I had ever seen. I've seen him before at Bonnaroo but seeing him inside is another experience. The visuals are way more trippy than you would ever think. And he jumps on the table and puts on a show. He's a definitely must see!
I WAS A LIL DISAPPOINTED THAT WE DIDNT GET TO GET ON THE FLOOR, BUT THERE WASN'T A BAD SEAT IN THE PLACE (EVEN THOUGH I NEVER SAT DOWN). :) I BECAME EMAMORED WITH "GTA"...WOW...THEY BLEW ME AWAY, I AM NOW A HUGE FAN. AND SKRILLEX (SONNY) WAS OFF THE CHAIN JUST AS I HAD HOPED. I WAS THOUGH VERY SAD THEY DIDNT HAVE THE SPACESHIP ON STAGE!!!!! IM NOT SURE WHY IT WAS SUPPOSE TO BE A HUGE PART OF THE TOUR. THAT WAS KINDA DISAPPOINTING. BUT OVERALL I WAS VERY VERY SATISFIED. SKRILLEX RULES!!!!

I love skrillex. He never disappoints. The light show was amazing, the crowd was hyped, overall, once again, he nailed it. Then showing up at the after party made my night. We drove from Myrtle Beach and didn't head back till about 4am.... It was so worth it!
The night started out decent, GTA put on a good performance, lots of trap. Then Skrillex came out and blew everybody away. The place exploded! A visual show that's next to none, and the sound.....my ears were ringing for two days and I LOVED IT!!
Most awesome show! I have been to hundreds of shows and by far he is in my top list of need to see artists.
Amazing artist to see live, definitely would go again!
Bottom line, go! Skrillex's light show was amazing, the set was amazing, everything was just awesome and the venue was great.
My husband and I were really frustrated at with how much people were smoking weed inside the concert all night. We expected most things just not to have weed blown in our faces every hour.
Skrillex was great, however it was extremely crowded and there was a 4.5hr wait until Skrillex came on. If there was a set list of times when the artists we're playing I would have came much later.
Way better than expected. One of the best concerts yet.
Best show I have been to by far! I will definitely be seeing him again
