    Fun event

by TX2OKC on 10/23/23Credit Union of Texas Event Center - Allen

The Credit Union of Texas event center was the perfect sized venue for this event. However, there was a visible lack of ushers. For example, there were people in our seats and when we let them know, the got up but they had made a mess in our seats and there was popcorn all over the place. Also, there are supposed to be people who comes in and out of the arena when there is a performance in progress and there were people going in and out during performances. Otherwise, parking and dining were great and the event itself was fun though more fan engagement would have been great.

    Great competition

by SWMBO on 10/23/23Credit Union of Texas Event Center - Allen

This was a great competition. Everything ran right on schedule, the competitors were excellent, and the venue was just right for the competition.

    Just OK event

by Effectsguy on 10/23/19Orleans Arena - Las Vegas

Time on the tickets said 11:59 pm. I take that to mean midnight. Didn't sound right, called the venue. It was really 2:00 pm. If I had stuck to the ticket time, I would have shown up 10 hours late. "Skating Spectacular" was more like skating snoozetacular. No judging so most skaters gave very lazy routines. Bright spots: Pair from Spain gave a whimsical routine reminiscent of a commercial ice show. Female skater from Japan put a lot more into her routine. David Chen gave us at least one quad jump.

    Great show

by L. on 10/23/19Orleans Arena - Las Vegas

It was fantastic. Do more advertising so more people go to the show. Or lower ticket prices. The show was so much fun.

    Interesting

by Josh on 10/23/19Orleans Arena - Las Vegas

Program length could be tightened up without interval breaks with magician's commentary. Show seemed to start late and took 2.5 hours with intermissions. Without magician it could be 90 minutes. Very cool to see top skating stars perform live and that close up. Free parking too. Venue good, snack prices affordable.

We had a great time attending the competition. This is the second competition we attended and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Hope to attend others in future if possible.

Skate America was a joy to attend at Oreleans Arena. Definitely will be happy to visit the arena again at a future event, especially since there’s easy access via bus.

    Skate America 2019 rocks!

by D. on 10/21/19Orleans Arena - Las Vegas

Las Vegas was a fun site for the skating competition! Enjoyed the sun and palm trees and sun as well as the fantastic skating. Wish the tickets had been mobile instead of paper, but otherwise, it was awesome!

    Skate America was great.

by SWR on 10/21/19Orleans Arena - Las Vegas

Everything about the event was wonderful. The Orleans Arena was the perfect place to hold Skate America. Merchandise was priced fairly. Skaters were gracious and kind when my daugther asked for autographs and pictures. It was a great trip and experience filled with tons of memories.

    Wonderful event

    by E. S. on 10/20/19Orleans Arena - Las Vegas

The perfect place for a skating event with the arena within walking distance of the hotel. The venue was well kept and actually had some healthy food! Of course, the usual great skating.

Cold arena and commercials, but otherwise fantastic competit

by D. on 10/20/19Orleans Arena - Las Vegas

Ice competition was excellent. Arena seating very comfortable. It was very cold, exceptional even for an ice event. And right after each competitor the big screen jumped into commercials! Very irritating and not fair to the impressions left by skaters.

    Skate America

by oberammergau on 10/28/15UW–Milwaukee Panther Arena (formerly US Cellular Arena) - Milwaukee

This is my second time attending. I would recommend it highly. It is fun to see the skaters walking around. It gives the little skaters such a thrill. My seats were great as well. My only suggestion would be to allow the customers to stay in the arena between the events. At Skate America last year in Hoffman Estates we were able to do so. The kids enjoyed watching the skaters practice. In Milwaukee, there was a concert and sporting event going on in the same area. All of the restaurants were packed and we couldn't get anything to eat. We went back to the arena to be told that we couldn't get back in until 6:30. My child is a diabetic and it was a major hardship not to have a meal. There were many other families that were upset as well. Please keep this in mind for next year. Thanks. Karen Duggen

I wish I could go to Skate America again!

by fiskating12 on 10/27/15UW–Milwaukee Panther Arena (formerly US Cellular Arena) - Milwaukee

I loved Skate America; I had never been to an elite skating competition before. I loved watching all of the skaters and seeing the behind-the-scenes look at the judges and the cameramen working.

Great to cheer on Team USA at Skate America!

by Arriba627 on 10/27/15UW–Milwaukee Panther Arena (formerly US Cellular Arena) - Milwaukee

Loved making the trip to Milwaukee (from Chicago) to cheer on our skaters. Very appreciative audience made the whole experience a great time. Gave 4 stars instead of 5 because I thought the seats were very uncomfortable. Also during the 2 hour break between competitions, the food vendors were closed and there were very few options nearby where we could go to eat. With a concert and a Bucks game right nearby, very difficult to get into any place.

    Skate America amazing!

by skatrgrl on 10/26/15UW–Milwaukee Panther Arena (formerly US Cellular Arena) - Milwaukee

Skate America - an olympic style skating competition, was amazing! The ladies were throwing triples and the men pulling quad jumps. We had 1st row tickets and it was so close to the action. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys the sport.

Of course Skate America is Fabulous !

by gramhorsiey on 11/2/13Joe Louis Arena - Detroit

I look forward to Skate America and was not disappointed this year. The event seemed to be well planned. I liked the ticketing system for the All Event pass. Was easy to enter or leave if you had to. Great souvenir too. Just wish there had been more people attending to show support for the great athletes.

Last minute decision to drive the 4.5 hrs to attend Skate America and so glad we did! Only saw the men's LP and free dance and wish we could have stayed for the whole thing, especially the exhibition/skating spectacular. Seating: We were further off-center than would have liked but on end where skaters entered/exited ice. Kiss & cry curtained off and not visible from our seats, but they had everything displayed on the jumbotron.

    Skate Detroit

by Smoothlikeice on 10/23/13Joe Louis Arena - Detroit

Very impressed, first time I saw top skaters perform live. I was amazed at their athleticism. It was a great dad and daughter experience. Got me excited to see them perform in the upcoming Olympics.
