He was great! And he spoke on topics that were close to home, Relationships, children, current economic situation. He "picked" on the folks who came in late. I came to the concert with a "heavy heart" over some current "issues" I am dealing with and he helped me FORGET ABOUT THEM..for a little while!
Sinbad was outstanding! I enjoyed every moment... I had friends laughing at me for wanting to see his stand-up act. People was saying he's washed up and that was very far from the truth! Sinbad had about 45 min of good material then we wing it for another 45 min of Q&A! I will see him again when he come back to Detroit!
I love that Sinbad is funny and entertaining without the use of profanity.
The Sinbad experience was beyond phenominal. I have not laughed that hard in I cannot tell you how long. How in the world could one person pull so much out of his head spontaneously and make it so, so funny. This was the best show I have ever seen.
Sinbad was funny from beginning to the end. My only issue is, people who have seats in the front row need to stop coming in 40+ minutes late. I hope to see Sinbad again.
Where has Sinbad been? Oh my God his show was one of best shows I've seen in ages. His gift of telling stories and finding humor in real life situations was spot on perfection. He wasn't shy about poking fun and praising Detroit. His targeting the young man named Cartier to "mentor" all night was comic genius. The audience was a mix of races and ages and he connected with every single person there. After an hour and a hlf he checked his watch and was surprised how quickly the time flew, but he didn't care, he seem to go on for another hour. He played off the audience so phenomenally, he'd ask a question, usually of Cartier A.K.A. "CT" and did a hilarious bit revolving around a similar situation with his own father. I hope he comes back to Detroit often, I will be there.
We laughed for almost 2 hours solid. Sinbad just goes to prove that you do not have to use the cuss words to be extremely funny. :-)
Sinbad is as funny as ever!!! We laughed till we cried!!! OMG!!! He hit on so many funny topics, from why men are stupid to how to manage your kids when they act up! Hilarious is all I have to say!!! I would go back to see him again in the blink of an eye!!!! Wonderful show for sure! :D
My brother bought me and my family tickets to see Sinbad when he came to Detroit on July 25. I was soo excited for the entire 2 months I had to wait to go. The Soundboard was an awesome arena to have it in and Sinbad exceeded my expectations! He was absolutely, genuinely hilarious! I never stopped laughing! He is truely the funniest, real, unscripted comedian I know! My family and I had a awesome time seeing him and would never miss another opportunity to see him again! Thanks for all the laughs!!
This was our first time at the Motor City Casino Hotel for a show and it was a very nice experience. The security was professional and very pleasant. The seats while not the best provided a great view especially with the huge flat screens mounted stage left and right. You could see better upstairs than on the main floor. Sinbad was his usual awesome self with more than two (2) hours of comedy only broken up by folks streaming in late which greatly amused Sinbad. All in all a very nice evening and we will certainly do it again ...
