    Shrektastic

by wolfywolfywolfy on 11/7/22The Ritz - Raleigh

Great time! 90% of everyone was themed and the DJ’s did a great job. Wish there were more themed events like this. Harry Potter rave would be great also.

    SHREK-TASTIC🧅!!

by Starr on 11/6/22Music Farm - Charleston

Overall the Shrek race was really fun, the Dj was awesome and I loved the hilarious Shrek clips playing on stage. BUT it would have been so much better if they had more people on stage interacting dressed as different characters! Someone should have definitely been dressed as Shrek on stage!! The other suggestion was having more “Shrek” themed music. They had some mixes with Shrek quotes but we all wanted more ALLSTAR!👏

    GET OUT OF MY SWAMP

by Brittney on 10/30/22The Underground - Charlotte

Being a big fan of Shrek my friends and I were really excited, we dressed up imagining a night full of Shrek but other songs. The night started okay with mashups of shrek and regular songs. Then what continued to progress I would hardly call songs. Although it is called Shrek Rave I did not anticipate EDM at all, let alone the entire time.

    Music was lacking

by Shrexi on 10/18/22Roxian Theatre - Pittsburgh

I knowwww the people wanted to get down in that swamp and reeeeeally boogie. I’m talking twerking those donkey tails and what not. The music was alright, but I wish they would have played All Star maybe like 5 less times than they did, and replaced those spots with some remixes of current BANGERZ. That tis all. Carry on

    Blown away

by Code on 10/18/22Roxian Theatre - Pittsburgh

I expected this to be a silly and fun concert, but I was blown away at the quality of the music played and the energy being delivered. This is one of the most fun concerts I've been to all year.

    Music

by Nico on 10/18/22Roxian Theatre - Pittsburgh

The DJs sucked which made us leave early. Music was really hard to vibe to.

    Pure Ridiculous Nostalgia

by The Muffin Man on 10/2/22The Depot - Salt Lake City

This event was incredibly fun. I got to dress up, say shrek quotes all night, enjoy shrek themed drinks, and enjoy raving in the swamp with all the other shrek fans. The music was hilarious and bumpin. It was so fun to see everyone’s outfits. I hope they do a bikini bottom rave

    Play those Shrek Bangers!

    by Shrek-arita on 9/19/22The Underground - Charlotte

Drinks and vibes were great. Loved the waffles. It would be great to make use of the amazing Shrek soundtrack songs (from all 4 movies) MORE instead of just 5 of the songs. Less random pop songs... Playing the whole song wouldn't be bad either, instead of just half the song. Maybe add the clip from the movie on the screen. Was sad to not hear Funkytown or Accidentally in Love. Remix the slow songs like Live and Let Die and I Need Some Sleep. We need all the Shrek songs! More Shrek merch/costumes from the DJs

Fun, goofy, but could be much better

by Millie on 9/7/22The Observatory North Park - San Diego

Honestly a great event because everyone came dressed up and it was very fun to see everyone get together for this absolutely ridiculous event. However, only 1 of the DJs was actually mixing well and playing good/fun music. A lot of the “DJs” were not only mixing poorly but repeated a lot of songs already played (and I’m not talking about the Shrek movie songs, totally fine with singing I’m a believer 20x). They also decided to bring out some really bad SoundCloud rapper at the very last hour of the event and it tanked the mood. Never seen the observatory clear out so fast.

the littest i've been in SD

by fern on 9/5/22The Observatory North Park - San Diego

overall an awesome night, so many good throwback songs and unsettling remixes. most of the attendees went all out with their costumes/outfits which made the night seem even more legit. my only complaint is the music: one DJ (a girl w dragon wings) just played beats without any words for a while until another DJ came on (a guy with a black cap, definitely the best DJ of the night), that portion of the night was lit but then another DJ came on (he had a huge fluffy cap on) and this dude did not know how to DJ. he would play a lit song, abruptly cut it off just as it was building up and then start playing another song. zero transitions. AND THEN this random dude came on stage and started rapping?? but no one could hear him??? so we deemed the night over and left at that point. we wish that the guy with the black cap had just DJed the whole time, then the night would've been perfect

    Good vibes-dog poop music

by I have layers on 9/5/22The Observatory North Park - San Diego

NOT A RAVE. Only worth cause I paid the early bird price of $20. they started with some edm and it quickly turned into emo night somehow. The transitions from song to song were so screechingly harsh, and at some point it was the six flags theme song but with Linkin park's Numb as the lyrics. It was so bizarre. The vibes brought on by people were great though and so was the swamp water.
