This was a great event. Bring more of these to San Jose. One annoyance was the number of people getting up during the main event and climbing over us to buy beer/drinks. I guess there is nothing that can be done about this, though.
Great seeing professional boxing in our little city of El Paso, Texas. Excalante was awesome! Good seeing our local talent representing El Paso, Texas!!
Overall was great entertainment, was a great time!!!
This was really great. Much better than fights in vegas where it's $500 for a seat so far away that you have to watch the Jumbotron. My ticket was only $55 and I was only 30 feet from the action. And these are big names; Chris Arreola, Eric Molina, Paul Williams. Very happy with the tickets. When Chris Arreola and Eric Molina got done boxing, they came and sat down right in the same section to watch the rest of the fights.
Showtime with Goosden Productions, et al did put on a great show. lots of great fights with big names. waiting for another, hopefully soon.
Awesome event, highly recommended Showtime Boxing and American Bank did Great. Bring more Boxing to Corpus Christi.
Overall it was a good experience and the atmosphere was awesome. I just hate the fact there was not enough leg room space. When people walk through the aisles it was very uncomfortable.
We enjoyed the WBC boxing event at the Heartland Event Center and would recommend it to friends! The seats were fantastic! I would of like to have seen all the concessions being used money was lost do to people waiting in long lines but over all it was a great night! I felt that the ticket prices were very fair and affordable! It was a plus that you scheduled this event during the live horse racing season at Fonner Park this added to the evenings excitement and made it an all day event for us! Combining both live horse racing and the boxing events together made this a strong 5 star night!!!!
Please bring boxing back to Grand Island. This event was a great time!
Beside the 4-foot fence seperating us from the rich people sitting at tables, the seats were great. The fence blocks the bottom of the ring and sometimes the boxers feet, especially for viewers under 6-foot-tall. With that said, that's the absolute worst thing about the event. The fights were great and so was the environment. I would go to another event in a heartbeat.
The event itself was amazing, however the seating was not. The attendees who paid to sit at the tables ring side stood up for long periods of time, making it impossible for us to see and we were in the third row. There was no need for them to stand to see the fights, most of the time they were visiting with people, not even paying attentions to the event. Obviously this created a domino effect because we had to stand to see, the people behind us had to stand etc. As I said, it was great to see GI host an event such as this and the Event Center is a great venue; the inconsiderate folk should have stayed home!
This was the first live boxing event I have attended. I did enjoy & would go again but would get better but cheaper seats. Seats on the floor are over rated & over priced. I could hardly see what was going on most of the time. Next time I will get seats center ring but in the grand stand, just a few rows above the floor.
Every fight was a great and entertaining one, and the transition from fight to fight was very smooth and quick. I was very glad that I went. I would definitely go again!!
The overall night of boxing was pretty good. There were a few really good matches, but was disappointed in some as well. Felt the referees stopped them too early. Was nice to see a lot of "local" Nebraska boys on the undercard. Gave the fans an easy guy to root for!
Loved the event.....Its nice getting entertainment like this in Central Nebraska
Excellent venue. Nebraska needs to have more professional boxing like this. The popularity is obvious due to the good turnout and enthusiasm of the crowd.
Originally the doors were to open at 6:00 but did not open until about 6:15. The fights started about 15 minutes late as well. My seats were great and there was easy access to the concession stands and the bathrooms. One fan was standing in the aisle but an attendent eventually came down and told him he had to move. The events moved quickly and were well organized. The sound system was hard to hear at times, especially when the Australian boxer was talking. The appearance by Leon Spinks added to the attraction. The Heartland Events center is a great venue.
fights were great. The $50 seats needed to be on risers. If you weren't in the first couple of rows you couldn't see as well as people in the cheap seats. Beverage service sould not be allowed. the cocktail staff kept walking around serving drinks so those of us on the floor couldn't see. A great event but I will never pay for premium seats for a fight here again.
The fights were good overall. The venue could have been opened a little earlier. Liked the stadium seating throughout the venue. I would go back if a similar event was there again.
Cozy venue with two exciting fights. I hope EQC brings more famous fighters to the Pacific NW.
