Opening night......As a (British) Film Producer living in the USA, I was enthralled at the extraordinarily strong performances of the outstanding cast...Ok, we don't all sound like that in England, but both my husband and I were in near hysterics at the interpretation of the 'good ole British humour'....Despite the 'blue girl' losing her wig within one of the first musical numbers, she deservedly got a huge round of applause for pulling it back on and continuing very professionally, regardless....Wonderful cheeky comedy and powerhouse singing from every cast member, made this particular theater experience one of the most enjoyable I have had in a long time (I have already seen several plays around the country this year). I would recommend this show to anyone in the locale......My husband even commented that it would make a 'good film adaptation'.....hmm, that's got me thinking...he could be right!
