Awesome experience, VIP Gold experience is overpriced
by DA on 11/28/24Allstate Arena - RosemontRating: 4 out of 5This was a very very fun event, only thing that is preventing it from being 5 stars, is the price tag for VIP Gold. I expected more from the price tag for the meet and greet though. It was more of a “greet”. the person running it made sure you didn’t bring anything in to get signed and was very heavily pushing that you can’t even say hi or really meet them. Upon entering the meet and greet a few surprisingly said “hi” however the tour manager still rushed you along. (Walk in->say hi->snap picture->leave) I got the VIP Gold package. Like with most meet and greets experiences I have done in the past, you would be able to take a minute to actually “MEET” the team. Maybe a suggestion would be have a few tables set up for the fans to go down the line, get an autograph and say hi to the team. Or if quantity of people is an issue, maybe limit the amount meet and greets for time reasons. If I recall correctly, the silver vip package was nearly $150 cheaper. All the same benefits minus the “meet & greet”. At the end of the game the team still took a chance to take photos with fans and sign autographs which was really nice of them and considerate. But this Further proves that the meet and greet experience is over priced for what it is. I had more of a chance to actually “meet” them after the game than with what I paid for. I’m still happy with the experience and was happy to help this charitable event and support a show and cast I love. Just would expect more for the true VIP experience and price tag. All in all, the event itself was amazing, the cast was amazing, it was a very enjoyable event, just the VIP Gold incentives, primarily the meet and greet need to be thought out again. It wasn’t cheap and I feel you should really be able to get your moneys worth for what it cost. The only difference between VIP gold and silver is the price difference of $150 and not having the “greet” experience.
