One of the best shows I have seen in a while. If these guys stay together they could become one of the legends of rock and roll
The show started with the band Sore Eyes. I really liked the sound of them. They seemed like great musicians. Next out was Automatic Fire. It had been announced that Adelitas Way was going to be there and were disappointed that they weren't. The lead singer of Automatic Fire was the lead singer of a band called Silvertide and I have their CD and love it, but if Adelitas Way couldn't make it, Automatic Fire should have been the warm up band, because I thought Sore Eyes was much better. And then came Shinedown!! That made our 4th time seeing Shinedown and they delivered a great show as always! Maybe even better than usual since this time they were the headliners and had more time. Shinedown NEVER disappoints!!! They played almost 2 full hours.
Amazing show... this was my 3rd times seeing them... 7th time for my boyfriend. They get better and better each time!! Can't wait to see them again!
I went to see Shinedown at the Centre in Evansville, Indiana with my best friend. We had really close seats and we had a blast. Shinedown was awesome live, they sounded just like the album versions. They tried to get the whole crown involved and we had a great time.
Sounded great and Shinedown Rocked!!!! Lighting and stage props were well organized.
This was the first time I have seen Shinedown live and they were amazing. They were better than I thought they were going to be live.
This was the second time I'd seen Shinedown. I thought it was an odd venue for a band that I think is bigger than that, but I absolutely appreciate being closer to the band at the same time. Aside from that, they are great live and interact well with the crowd. It is always nice to have a band that seems to appreciate their fans.
The show was great! It was like they were playing in my living room. INCREDIBLE show. Hope they are back in the area soon, can't wait to see them again.
This is my second Shinedown show and it just keeps getting better. Brent, Zack, Eric and Barry couldn't have done it better than they did last night at Rox. Smaller venues are awesome. Everyone gets a personal experience. The guys rocked Rox for a little over 2 hours of non-stop fist pumping, jumping up and down, screaming at the top of your lungs rock-n-roll. They did the gambit of songs..from going back to a mix that included "Fly from the Inside" and "Burning Bright" to their cover of Skynard's "Simple Man" and Otis Redding's "Dock of the Bay", it was a night full of hits. The guys even stayed after the show to greet fans and sign CD's (which had to be purchased to be admitted to the meet n greet) but was a small price to pay for getting to say hello and get lots of autographed swag from the guys. Very much gentlemen and polite to a fault. It was a pleasure to meet them again and another amazing experience. If they come back around.. I'm there. Keep it up guys!!
Shinedown played Monday 3/22/10 in south Louisiana, at Shorty's club in Cypress Bayou Casino casino. I just happen to be front row, and let me tell you these guys put on one hell of a show, probably the best I've ever been to. Brent explained the story behind some of the songs which I thought was very nice!! Then they played to the crowds hands also. They just tore the roof off the place, I'm still buzzing!! Incredible is all I can say!
This band was very entertaining. They were personal with the crowd and encouraged crowd participation. They have very good stage presents and seem to get along on stage. The song selection was great and they wsas a chance for you to meet the band after the show which I thought was cool cause most bands just leave after the show
energy, confidence, professionalism, musicianship, etc, etc, ETC. good singer, good players, good song-choices, and THEY HAD IT CRANKED-UP!! i'm a fifty-eight year old rocker from the mid to late 60's. i've been to literally hundreds of concerts and this one was "up there". let's do it again!
Fantastic show!!! Would go see again any day!!!!!!
the concert was great..love it ..love the music!!!!
I must say seeing Shinedown for the first time was a great experience. Words cannot explain how great they were I love all their songs BUT by far my favorite performance was when they sang SIMPLE MAN that was AWESOME!! Cant wait to see them again
One of the best concerts I've ever been to. I got to meet them afterwards, they were they are awesome!!!!! Can't wait to see them again.
I have been waiting to see Shindown at the HOB, it is such an amazing and intimate venue to see a big band at, and the sound quality is always stellar. This venue really allows the fans to connect with the bands and vice versa. Skillet was amazing, I immediatly bought the CD when they walked off stage, their enery on stage from the second they played the first note until they turned off the mic, was inspiring and brought life to the crowd,it was really refreshing, the CD is awesome but it doesn't even begin to touch the live performance. Puddle of Mudd was excellent, got to hear all my favorites and some new tunes, they definatly prepared us to rock out with Shinedown. It was my third time seeing these guys and everytime just keeps getting better and better, the best part about those guys is they truely appreciate the fans and you totally feel that when they perform. And the absolute unbelieveable performance of the evening which completed the night was when they played, acoustically of course....... yep you guessed it "SIMPLE MAN"!!!! There honestly are no words to decribe how cool that was, it was truely breath takingly AMAZING!!! YOU GUYS ROCK, THANKS FOR A GREAT NIGHT OF ROCK AND ROLL!!!!!!!!
Skillet was awesome, Shinedown was ok, but Puddle of mud very disappointing, didn't drink enough I guess.
I have seen Shinedown before but in a much larger venue. I loved the HOB because the sound is awesome and the venue is smaller! Would see them again in amy venue but especially the HOB in AC!
I love Shinedown, but in terms of energy and crowd interaction POM just blew them away. I did enjoy hearing Shinedown live, but I felt if I had sat down in a chair I would have enjoyed it as much as I did standing in the middle of the crowd.
