About

In the heart of London, behind the impassive facade of a windowless house, some of Europe's most powerful men gather to play a game. The game is murder and this is The Suicide Club. But the Club has a new member: Sherlock Holmes—brilliant, perceptive, the greatest detective in the English-speaking world. Does Holmes wish to die? Will he have to kill? Can his old friend Dr. Watson save him? Or doesn't Holmes want to be saved? A beguiling World Premiere thriller commissioned by ATC from one of our favorite authors brings the famous detective alive in a tale full of mystery, twists and chills.

As good as anything in the West End

Never drags. Clever staging. Wonderfully acted. My family was in the mood for something Halloweenish. This hit the spot.

    Where is the edge?

by Tamora on 10/24/11Herberger Theater Center - Phoenix

Sherlock Holmes and the Suicide Club. Holmes - in the original stories and in some of the past dramatizations - was a man on the edge between brilliance and insanity. This Holmes just isn't all that intense, just mildly interesting. We were disappointed.

It was well acted and had both humor and drama. The venue was very good as it allowed for you to be close enough to hear and see both actors and scenery.
