Shedd Pass Tickets

Amazing time. I highly recommend getting this pass.

The Shedd Aquarium was amazing. I took the girls and met with two friends. We represented 3 states. The jellies and the sea horses were beautiful. I loved seeing the different turtles, and the colorful fish. Some fish were hug! The kids played in the polar exhibit and enjoyed the penguins. But the most unforgettable part was the show with the Beluga whales. That brought tears to our eyes. What an amazing experience. You have to see it. One can appreciate all the hard work that goes behind caring for these amazing creatures.

The Shedd was fantastic! We weren't able to attend on the day our tickets were printed for but the friendly folks at the Shedd allowed us to transfer dates without an issue. They said "you paid to see the aquarium so you should be able to see it, even if your a day late." How nice is that. I recommend printing your tickets at home to avoid any lines.

This was my husband's first visiti to the Shedd. He loved it! We both enjoyed the calmness of the Caribbean Reef.

I especially enjoyed the dolphin and whale show. I've been to the aquarium on several occasions and like the fact that they change some of the exhibits..

Today was our first visit to Chicago. We went with our grandson, nephew, daughter and son in law. We all had a ball. To see the wonder in the eyes of my grandson was priceless. Our only complaint is that parking is not available, the signs are wrong and the Shedd staff were unable to explain where to park.

Although we enjoyed the exhibits, once was enough and it took us just two hours to go through everything. The price for what we saw was outrageous! We also visited the Museum of Science and Industry and the price was so much better, everything included, so much more interactive, spent the whole afternoon and still haven't seen and done everything!

Took my sister & my nieces to the Shedd for my sisters birthday, great way to spend a freezing autumn day! Very educational with beautiful exhibits. The entire facility is clean & very well cared for. They must have a massive staff & some incredible equipment to care for all those fish & other animals! I am not really one that enjoys fish or aquariums (my sister is) but I was in awe of the Shedd & really enjoyed our day there. My only complaint would be ticket prices- seemed a bit high to me, but as I said it's not really my kind of thing so it is probably a fair price for someone who does enjoy fish & aquariums, plus it probably accounts for the immaculate state of the entire facility.

The show was good, however 20 minutes was spent on how the dolphins and whales are trained and watching videos. Please take out the part about the dogs. This was irrelevant. This left only 5-7 minutes of watching the whales/dolphins do their tricks. I would have liked to have seen more of this. People were getting up and leaving 15 minutes into the show.

We had fun, it's a great place to take a kid, but man is it overpriced. I don't mind spending money but I don't feel I got the level of experience I expected at the price.

Best thing to do is buy your tickets ahead of time. The lines are so long there every weekend. If you have tickets ahead of time you get to go right in. Pay the extra money for the Aquarium show - it was the best. Also, schedule the show in the middle of your day - kids do get bored looking at tanks over and over again. We were there for a couple hours, saw the show, got a snack from the café, then went back and saw more tanks - worked out great! The Shark tank wasn't busy first thing in the morning.

We have been to the Niagara Aquarium and the Virginia Beach Aquarium. Shedd is wonderful. We could have easily spent all day there. Best tip we got: buy your tickets online the day before so you don't have to wait in line. Sure enough, the line to get in was at least 100 people long, and not moving. We walked right in with our tickets. It was worth buying the $39 tickets. We saw a 4D show about planet life that was awesome. We saw a show with dolphins, seals, belugas, and a dog. The jelly fish exhibit was beautiful and the wild reef area was my favorite. I was very impressed with how many different varieties of sea life they had. It was worth every penny!

Waste of money and time. While the tour guide was very nice, he was clearly only schooled in the script for the tour and was not able to answer any questions put to him, even those of the children. Also very little to see except grey hallways, empty labs and employees that seemed irritated that we were in their way.

Shedds Aquarium was really fun with plenty to see for the whole day. Friendly and helpful staff!! Plenty of parking at soldiers field across the way. I recommend buying tickets online as we always do to avoid the long lines inside, this way you are able to walk right in after getting your wristbands from staff outside.

Great aquarium! I had no idea it had so much to do! You must must get there early and must must buy your tickets online ahead of time!!

This was our first trip to Chicago. Came to see the Taylor Swift concert and wanted to do something fun with all the kids (13,9 &5) during the day. Bought tickets in advance and glad I did so that we didn't have to wait in line. The line was about 3 blocks long. I think that buying the shed pass vs the general admission tickets didn't really get us much more so that was disappointing. It was crowded and there just wasn't that much to see for the $150.00 it cost for the 5 of us to spend 3 hours looking a what the Shedd had to offer.

Best time ever. Got see all kinds of fish and reptiles.

My 5.5 and 2.5 year old loved it. Get there early because it gets crowded around 11AM and buy your tickets online.

It was me, my husband, and 2 of my kids. My daughter, who is 17, really loved it. She is a dolphin and jelly fish lover. We had a wonderful time. I would recommend it to everyone.
