Excellent show. Two hours of non stop entertainment. If you enjoy theatre, you must see Shear Madness at Meadow Brook Theatre. Each cast member is excellent playing their part throughout the two hour production.

    Shear Madness Shear Pleasure

by TerryAF on 10/22/17Meadow Brook Theatre - Rochester

Loved the comedic dialogue...using current issues and local city names added a more personal touch. Enjoyed the interaction with the audience and the actors direct dialogue with people in the audience. This is one of those "don't miss it" shows. The I actually am going a second time because I wanted more of my friends to enjoy this theater production. Standing ovation!! I enjoyed every minute of it!

    Standing O!

by bi27 on 10/18/17Meadow Brook Theatre - Rochester

This play was hilarious! I was very nervous about the audience participation part of it, but it turned out to be the audience sharing information, not being actually involved in the play. There were a lot o references to current events, which made the story even more funny! I highly recommend this play!

I took my thirteen year old son to the play and both of us had a great time. The humor was fantastic and I loved the actors interaction with the audience. All of us were yelling out answers and opinions, it was great fun!

    Great Show & Venue!

by Nstein09 on 10/10/17Meadow Brook Theatre - Rochester

Shear Madness is always enjoyable!!! It's a different outcome each night so you can see it multiple times. It never disappoints, always hilarious and a great time! Meadow Brook is a great place to see a show at...it's a small enough theater where all seats are good, the talent is great and the campus of Oakland is beautiful!

Went there for my girlfriends birthday. We Had a great time! I reserved a table but the only one available was in the corner. When we got there they ask if we wanted to sit at the bar? which was center of the stage. AWESOME! haha anyone that ask me what to do in Boston Shear Madness is my first recommendation.

    Shear Madness was just ok

by CaliDudeSF on 6/7/16Charles Playhouse Second Stage - Boston

I love to laugh - who doesn't? Unfortunately the humor was cliched and became predictable. The storyline and audience participation were a lot of fun, but the supposed comedic part was too centered on sexual innuendo and it got old. Nothing wrong with the humor per se but you need more depth to make it sing. I hope they show more depth in their humor in the future.
