Shania Twain on Tour

Shania Twain's concerts bring together her long list of hits and her newer material in thrilling ways, throwing back to her iconic videos while also using state-of-the-art stagecraft to make her appear larger than life. Her status as the queen of country-pop is only cemented by her stellar stage presence and the enduring power of her hits. Bottom line: She will impress you much.

Shania Twain in Concert

Ontario-born Shania Twain has one of the most storied histories in country music, with chart-topping singles around the world and shelves full of awards. Her second album, 1995's The Woman in Me, was her huge breakthrough, spawning her first Canadian No. 1 country single, the feisty "Whose Bed Have Your Boots Been Under?" as well as her inaugural U.S. country chart-topper, the saucy "Any Man of Mine." Twain's no-nonsense lyrics and smooth voice proved to be an ideal pairing for country-music audiences as well as the Recording Academy of America, who awarded Woman the 1996 Grammy for Best Country Album. From there, Twain went on not only to rule ‘90s country but to expand her terrain into pop. The lush ballad "You're Still the One," from her third album, Come On Over, became Twain's first Hot 100 Top 10 single and topped charts around the world, with the swirling love song "From This Moment On" and the amusedly withering "That Don't Impress Me Much," also from that album, following suit. Come On Over would spawn 12 singles from its 1997 release until 2000, and those songs picked up four Grammys at the Recording Academy's 1999 and 2000 awards.

In 2002 Twain showed off her wide musical palette with Up!, which was released in three editions that placed its 19 songs in pop, country, and "world" motifs. The album showcased Twain's instinct for writing memorable hooks and proved to audiences that she could hang with pop's biggest names. Twain put music on the back burner in the years that followed, releasing the occasional single while focusing on raising her son and dealing with health issues. She returned from the break in 2012 when she opened the Still the One residency at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. In the years since, she's released her fifth album, Now, executive-produced and appeared on the USA talent search Real Country, and announced a second Vegas residency, Let's Go!, opening in December 2019. Previously, Shania Twain has sold out venues to capacity, like Zappos Theater and The O2.

Shania Twain is a great singer with a wonderful voice. Unfortunately I couldn't hear it during most of the first half. The band over shadowed her singing. The drums, keyboard and guitars were so loud, you couldn't hear her voice clearly. The second half of the concert was great. especialy around the campfire. Overall very enjoyable. next time I will bring my ear plugs.

This was the most amazing show I have ever seen. I still cannot come up with the words that are deserving of this show to explain to people how amazing this show really is. For an hour after the show all I could say to myself was WOW. And as of now I say to myself WOW!!!!!!

    Shania close to perfection

by JBcali on 12/6/12The Colosseum At Caesars Palace - Las Vegas

Really enjoyed hearing her songs & seeing how beautiful she still is inside & out. Watched her reality show so was anxious to see how she would do. There were some songs she was not able to hit the high notes, & she doesn't have the stamina she once had, but I think she is still a little unsure of herself. I think by next year, her confidence will be back & she will be back to her old self --one of the best performers ever. Absolutely loved the concert & will see her again next year. Last concert I saw was Madonna. What a difference. Shania was on time, a professional, & not trying to be something she wasn't.

    Shania was awesome

by Robpool on 12/6/12The Colosseum At Caesars Palace - Las Vegas

It was her first concert in about ten years and it was like she had never been away. A true spectacular in every sense of the word. Shania was a true professional and created a magical experience for the whole audience. I think it will be a sell out every night.

    Shania is back on stage.

by NannetteL on 12/5/12The Colosseum At Caesars Palace - Las Vegas

Very disappointing to have the band music drown out the voice of the singer we came to hear. Too many gimmicks in show and too many people on stage at times. Would have preferred a much simpler show that allowed her singing.

    Shania was great. . . .I think

by CalifMusicFan on 12/5/12The Colosseum At Caesars Palace - Las Vegas

I love Shania Twain's music and was excited to see the show. Unfortunately, it was a big disappointment. Note that IT was a disappointment, not Shania herself. We ordered tickets late and were only able to get seats in the upper balcony (called 2nd mezzanine at the Colosseum). The music was horribly, incredibly loud. I could literally feel the bass reverberate in my chest. The vibration was uncomfortable and within fifteen minutes my head began to throb. My husband pointed out that the bass speakers were lined up over the top of the stage, aimed almost directly at us. The worst part was that I couldn't hear a single word of any song. In the case of one song I didn't recognize, I had no idea what the lyrics were. I can honestly say I did not hear Shania's voice at all, and isn't that what going to a concert is all about? I gave this concert three stars because I'm pretty certain she did a good job. On the other hand, the producers of her show failed badly. I also didn't like the huge spot lights waving back and forth almost constantly. They obscured our view of her and the dancers. You expect this stuff at a heavy metal rock concert, but not from Shania Twain. I went to hear her sing and was sadly disappointed.

    Shania - Welcome Back

by SPGCPA on 12/5/12The Colosseum At Caesars Palace - Las Vegas

Was great to be there for opening night show - and yes, this is a "show" more so then it is a concert......highly choreographed and designed to "wow" you, Shania delivers in true Las Vegas fashion.....while I had a great time, I would have preferred a more traditional concert that highlighted her voice rather than such an extravaganza... At times, the band and backup singers drowned out her voice - was this intentional ???...after battling voice issues, is this still a concern ? To her credit, this was a view into Shania the person. SHe connected with the audience, looked absolutely amazing, and you felt like you were watching a friend perform for you. I would go back to see this show in a heartbeat.....

    Opening Night @ Shania

by Muscwolve on 12/5/12Ceasar's Palace - Las Vegas

I thought the show needs a lot of work. Not sure if it was nerves of not being on stage for so long or just the pressure to please her fans, but I thought the show fell short for me. Shania's body still rocks. I felt she down played her body. I felt the costumes could of been a lot tigher. Her stage was a mess to me. She had these orbs/ rocks that kept going back and forth which seem to try to just cover a lacking stage. I felt her entrance and exit were incredilbe. I love that she included her audience in her performance. Granted I am basing this review from the time I saw Shania in Miami and thought she was spot on and gave a great show with flow and balance. She's still the one though. I am sure she will tweak the show and get it right.

Shania was awesome like always. I just wish she would have sang more songs and that pictures would have been allowed to snap during the show.

    Twain was incredible

by Hanshe on 12/4/12The Colosseum At Caesars Palace - Las Vegas

My husband bought me tickets over a year ago as a birthday gift and I couldn't wait until the BIG event. On December 2nd we attended her concert at The Colosseum in Las Vegas, we had great seats. We were so amazed by this international superstar's creativity. She told the audience that she wanted us to be a part of everything she loves most in life and what a show it was. From her entrance of flying suspended in air on top of a motorcycle in a shimmering black catsuit, to her down home campfire seating, which included some fans she hand picked out of the audience and her finale of riding on stage on top a beautiful white horse while dressed in all white and barefoot. Her entire crew of dancers, musicians and back up singers were also very impressive and talented. I would recommend this show to everyone and will never forget the best birthday present ever.

    Shania is back

by Memonorth on 12/4/12The Colosseum At Caesars Palace - Las Vegas

Last saw Shania in concert in Vegas in 2003. Almost 9 yrs later and this woman knows how to make an entrance and put on a show! Starts off mellow before the show with video of a moving forest, birds chirping, the Shania perfume slowly entering your sense of smell. She then arrives on stage on a suspended motorcycle. Continues to build you "UP" with various costume changes and entering on horseback throughout the concert. Great back up band; her sister sings and supports her on stage. For a 47 yr old entertainer, she looks and moves fabulously!

by Zdub1970 on 12/4/12The Colosseum At Caesars Palace - Las Vegas

Shania Twain's Vegas concert was amazing and well worth attending. She sung all of her hits perfectly. She looks absolutely amazing! She has a great band, back up singers, and dancers. The set designs were colorful and complimented her music nicely. Caesars Palace is a great venue. I'm glad she found her confidence again to make it back to the stage. Bottom line, you won't be disappointed!

Shania is back.! Bold, beautiful, and flawless!

by FanForShania on 12/4/12The Colosseum At Caesars Palace - Las Vegas

I saw Shania Twain in her triumphant return to the stage on opening night for her new show, "Still The One." This was by far the best concert I have been to in my life. For not having been on stage for over eight years, Shania has not missed a step. She sang all of her hits. She looked absolutely beautiful, and sang flawlessly. Her sweet and sincere side also showed through as she took time to chat with the crowd and express her thanks to the fans. I will definitely be back to see her again soon!
