It was a really good concert and really enjoyed the show!

Shaila is a great singer since the beginning of the show she was great, the think I like it of her is she did great with she own musics and with the mariachi, Thank You Shaila you did great!

The sound wasn't great, music was higher than the voice of Shaila, and we couldn't hear her voice clearly. Also in my opinion, the presentation was too short only 1 hour and 30 minutes..

Shaila has a beautiful voice and sang all the popular songs the audience knew! I loved the venue! It was my first time in the Balboa Theatre and it is beautiful. The only negative comment is that the show started one hour late.

She puts on a great show and truly gives her mom a breathtaking trip through all her hits.

After waiting for almost an hour past the starting time, and the crowd growing restless, she came out and delivered. Great vocals and good energy. She sang all her hits and also her late mother's songs perfectly!

it seems unproffesional of this artist she showed up almost an hour late we were worried she would cancel again and without even a im sorry for being late she went on like nothing happened the venue is great great seats

The event started with the wrong foot, the spectators live work, family or any other things in order to be on time for the concert, I feel it was very disrespectful of Shaila to appear on stage 1 hour late!!! not acceptable. For us the best part of the concert was the amazing Mariachi.

Really expected much more from her, specially when she has really huge shoes to fill by "honoring" her mothers legacy. Her musical band played horrible, not in tune with the lyrics of the songs. Best part of the show was when the mariachi played. As far as the venue is concerned, it was very unprofessional for security guards to continuously flash their strobe flash light on to the public to keep people from recording or taking pictures with their phones. I expect much more from a theater venue. Its very unfortunate that her performance fell really short of my expectations. I would not pay to see her again.

She did excellent. I would go again to see her. She did amazing out there. Even the mariachis that played before her did great.

I was very upset. The announcements kept saying it was a concert in remembrance of Juan Gabriel a year later. She did not do that. The only reason I went was to hear Juan Gabriel songs and she sang only a few.

The concert was short. She celebrated her mom's memory more than Juan Gabriels which is ok but may not be for others that expected what was advertised.

started at 8:30 instead of 8:00 p.m. like marque, tickets, or program stated Shaila had difficult time getting audience involved in her performance in spite of singing some very good popular songs

Why would you call it "Remembering Juan Gabriel" and then nothing about him? That was the only reason we went. Shaila was good but that's not what I thought I was getting tickets to. Had I known I would not have bought 6 front section tickets, we are Juan Gabriel fans not Shaila fans. I heard many people talking about the same thought at the end of the show.

Show scheduled at 8pm. Music started at 830 pm and she came out at 840pm then the show ended at around 10pm. Too expensive for such a short event.

I have been to other concerts that LCIMC has had in the past. This one has to be one of the worst ones I have been to yet. The main star, Shaila Durcal, only played a few songs and the few songs that she did play she tried to imitate her mother. I was expecting an artist with a unique style and presence on stage. The back drop on the stage was very weak and did not inspire the theme of the event. A positive review can be given for Mariachi Cobre. This Mariachi is like a fine tequila. It gets better with age. I was very impressed this year with Mariachi Cobre's proformance on stage. Even though about half of the songs they played were not uplifting, the other half woke you up and delivered the ambiance that should manifest through out this conference. For a moment, you feel as if you are in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico.

This was a great experience for my mother & I. Very glad to see that traditional Mexican music is alive and well!

Mariachi music was excellent. Headliner only sang for 30 minutes and did not offer to sing another 1 or 2 songs after like most headliners do.
