SEVEN LIONS IN CONCERT:
As one of EDM's brightest rising newcomers, California native Seven Lions is quickly headed to the top with his unique blend of lush dubstep and innovative dance music. He commands the decks with an energy that can't be matched, treating crowd sufring fans to hits like "Days To Come" and remixing Florence + the Machine's "Cosmic Love" to the pulse of a vivid light show.. BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Infatuated with music production at a young age, Jeff Montalvo began experimenting with synths and making beats on his Macintosh, stepping out solo as Seven Lions after a brief stint drumming in a punk band. Since then he's released his debut EP Polarize, earning recognition from none other than Skrillex, who signed Seven Lions to his label OWSLA. His follow-up EP Days To Come attracted attention from other mainstream DJs like Armin Van Buuren and Gareth Emery, landing at No. 2 on the iTunes Dance charts. Seven Lions has toured with Porter Robinson and Kewella, and his collaboration with Ellie Goulding on his 2014 EP Worlds Apart has planted him firmly on the dance music's A-list. Back on the road, Seven Lions will have ticket buyers’ spirits lifted high with his hit-filled sets on the upcoming Worlds Apart Tour.
Exceeded my expectatations! Been a fan since 2013 and never seem him live, the energy was awesome. His remixes were creative and added new life to all the songs. Good variety of moments, drops to soundscapes. The 4 openers were really good too! It was a party with a diverse crowd showing lots of love and being themselves.
Seven Lions DID NOT disappoint! Absolutely incredible to see him perform live. The weather was beautiful, the venue was great. OBLVYN started out with some exceptional freestyling, Gem & Tauri turned up the energy with some hype vibes, Andrew kept the electronic tone while providing some more chill beats, and then Seven Lions just overtook it all. But it wasn't fun to have folks throwing up around me, or smoking who knows what. I'm grateful the venue was open-air so I could at least stand upwind of it all, but that put a damper on the experience.
I enjoyed the opener Gem & Tauri, but no the Dj after them. Seven Lions is a great artist, but the music was way too loud. The decibels were still too loud even with ear plugs and hearing damage was probably occurring. I've noticed a lot of artists are setting up to play way too loud and it's really taking from the experience. Gem & Tauri didn't seem too loud, but every performer after that did.
By the time seven lions came on they played for about 20mins then suddenly shut off by the venue.

I've seen this guy at Old Rock House in St. Louis, The Pageant, Delmar Hall 2019, TomorrowWorld 2015 Mythical Frames stage, EDC Las Vegas 2016, i saw him at his secret set as Dj Sven (psytrance set), Sunset Music Festival in 2016, Red Rocks with above and beyond 2017 and the after party with Luttrell opening for Seven Lions, Spring Awakening 2018. Sorry for being out of order. This set he played at The Factory on June 2nd 2023 was the hardest i've ever seen Jeff play. Incredible set. I wish the bass was turned up more because GEM & TAURI was getting the venue bumping. Even Jason Ross came out swinging with some hard dubstep. The Factory please turn up the bass, you have the best venue, sound system in St. Louis, let the performers music not only be heard but felt. Thank you for attending my TEDtalk. Amazing show - so much fun! I definitely hope to see him again someday. I love The Factory, but their drinks are expensive.
All of the artists were amazing. They really know how to put on a show! I was super impressed with the visuals and sets. I can't wait for my next SL show!

Seven Lions with Jason Ross, Gem and Tauri, and OBLYVN was hands-down one of the best shows I've ever been to. The energy was wild, the fans were respectful and personable, the lighting effects were amazing. What a night! Will definitely be back for more.

Seven Lions is at the top of his art, mixing all types of genres during the set.
Gem and Tauri as well as Andrew Bayer where fairly disappointing to the point where I believe Oblyvyn should have had more room to perform. 30min vs an hour for the other two felt unfair. Jason Ross and Seven Lions where absolutely stunning though. Ill rate the show a 3 just because I had to sit through 2 hours of the same stuff over and over then came the good stuff.
Every DJ that was on this show made a wonderful journey through the whole evening and the final artist "Seven Lions" made the roof explode. It was a great show.

I’ve seen a lot of concerts and this was the best one yet. The stage design, the lighting, the sound were all impeccable. The venue could have been better, the lines were slow moving and confusing. But overall it was killer!!!
I think Seven Lions is a master producer first and foremost. He’s been my favorite artist for over 10 years. While I love his music, I get disappointed by the live performances. I think this was number 7-8. And every time I say I’m not going back to a fake show. And he drops another album and I have to go. While his music is 5⭐️ his performance gets 1⭐️ This is coming from a die hard fan that loves live music. There is nothing live about Seven Lions. I even saw a DJ that seemed to do the whole show from G&T, Mitis and SL. He was in the back of the club by the bar. Philly show
I was invited to this concert by some die hard fans, I recently made friends with. I had an awesome time, although the people I was with did not appreciate the House opener or encore. I enjoyed all of it. I love the hard hardcore bangs and the light House mix. There was an outside smoking area, bathrooms were clean and the food was decently priced. Merch prices were a bit exorbitant, 10 or 20 dollars less I may result in more sales. Again though I’m not a die hard fan, before this concert I had never heard of Seven Lions. I’m grateful for the experience and Alchemical undertones of the show.👋🏾
