  • triple overtime.

by koolau on 7/25/09KeyArena - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

The Seattle Storm vs. LA Sparks game was awesome! We were visiting from out of town and purchased tickets to see the game. It was worth every penny! Wow! Triple overtime with Seattle winning by the largest margin for the whole game. The team and crowd were so exciting! We had a great time. Highlight of our trip to Seattle!

  • Excellent Game

I had great seats, sat next to some amazing people who were very friendly. The game went to triple overtime and the Storm won!

The game was sooooo amazing!!! It went into triple overtime and the Storm pulled off an amazing win. It was one of the best games I've been to in years.

  • Superb Game Between Storm & Sparks!

by StormFan on 7/23/09KeyArena - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

This was a great game between the Storm and Sparks very competitively fought. It went into triple over time and both teams were so evenly matched that it was evident that it would come down to which team exhibited more of a will to win. Sue Bird was that source of determination to be victorius for the Storm in this game. In the third and final overtime period she took over the game with clutch 3 point shots that ultimately gave the Storm the lead for good.

  • WOW!

by STORMGRAM on 7/23/09KeyArena - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

The Seattle STORM/LA Sparks game was exciting, entertaining, and all I hoped it would be. They kept the audience entertained through everything with the little Dance Troupe, giveaways, Doppler, etc. My only complaint is that for a 65+ large lady the seats are WAAAAYYYYYY too small! It was OK once you got seated, but all the getting up and down was way hard. And the normal-sized man sitting next to me agreed!

  • Seattle Stormed!

    by Gary42 on 7/23/09KeyArena - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

It has been a while since I have watched a WNBA game and these women have come a long way. The pace and intensity of the game has improved tremendously and is far better than many of the lethargic NBA games I have seen lately. This game went to triple OT and neither team let down for one minute (the Storm finally pulling away for the win.) The Key Arena is also a great venue. I did not see where there was a bad seat in the house. If you are in Seattle I recommend this game for a great night out.

  • Remarkable come-back!

by mofro on 7/20/09KeyArena - SeattleRating: 4 out of 5

The game happened to land on the Bite of Seattle event so traffic was horrible. We missed the first half of the game but the second half made the effort in getting to the Key Arena and the money for the tickets all worth it. Overall a great event!!!

  • Seattle Storm Game

by napatraveler on 7/20/09KeyArena - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

For our first professional women's game - wow. Lots of excitement, lot's of noise (a bit too loud), fun fan activities and really a great family type event - very clean, no sleezy cheerleading outfits, young kids dancing. The food choices are basic as compared to most venues which is disappointing. The seats are comfortable and we got excellent seating through ticket master. We loved the blow up air sticks - they were free for every guest!

  • Seattle Storm vs. Los Angeles Sparks

    by bella733 on 7/18/09KeyArena - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

Watching the Storm play at Key Arena was amazing! I am so happy we have a basketball team to cheer for who does a great job of being good sports, showing the fans their appreciation, and showing off their exceptional basketball skills!

  • Good times

    by Dubc1315 on 7/17/09KeyArena - SeattleRating: 4 out of 5

The storm games are a blast a great place to watch some good basketball my girl LJ and have fun with friends. The only downer is during half time the bar needs to have more staff... it takes like 15 min to get one drink. But the games are always a good time and worth the money!

  • 1st WNBA game!

    by sofbal18 on 7/17/09KeyArena - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

The venue was just right for the amount of crowd that was there. Sometimes when you have a big arena and a smaller crowd, it takes away from the experience. It helped that it was a 2 point game to add some extra excitement.

  • The Storm play hard and are a great game to watch

by RichardN on 7/16/09KeyArena - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

Our family went to the Sparks vs Storm game at Key Arena in June 2009 and watched a great game in a great venue. WNBA players play hard and are exciting to watch. Fast action by talented athletes.

  • Storm hits Seattle

Was our first game of the Season and we had a blast!

  • Storm vs. Sky

by Suztutu on 7/16/09KeyArena - SeattleRating: 4 out of 5

Drove 240 miles to see the game. I would do it all again even if I knew the out come before hand! The energy radiated by the 'Faithful fans" cannot be duplicated on televison nor the electricity in key Arena as a result of that fan support. The pace of the game and the physicality of the game is also best seen in person. If I only lived closer you would have another season ticket holder. This was my second game this season. Thanks Storm.......

  • Night with the Storm

by bballmom on 7/16/09KeyArena - SeattleRating: 4 out of 5

This was a great family experience. Being married to a very, very tall man, I knew that basketball would always be a part of our lives. We have six kids - and they have followed in their dad's footsteps - both in being tall and loving basketball. And 5 of them are girls, so we jumped at the chance to take them all to a Storm game with the special $10 promo tickets offered this year for the 10th anniversary. It also happened to be Dad and Daughters night. The game was great - winning by 29 points! We had good seats - I was kind of expecting the promo seats to be further away - or not as good. The staff was all very nice and helpful. My kids loved the free "thunder sticks". Our only disappointment was that there weren't more contests/recognition of the dads and daughters in the stands. They had a few prearranged celebs and their daughters but not much for the general crowd. But all in all it was a great night and we will definitely do it again if the opportunity arrives.

  • Storm games are a lot of fun for family

by Niqjh on 7/15/09KeyArena - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

My daughter and I went to Dads and Daughters night, so we go a nice deal on tickets. Storm games are a lot of fun, there are always a lot of crowd-involving things, and the team and players are very connected with the crowd, much more so than in other pro sports. The prices are not outrageous, and it is a kid-friendly atmosphere. We are looking forward to getting to our next game!

  • Storm Game

The Seattle Storm was awesome that night. The team was running on all cylinders. It seems the Minnesta Lynx did have chance.

  • Storm Style!

by StormFanNW on 7/15/09KeyArena - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

One of the best values in town. Run, do not walk, to an upcoming Home Storm game very soon! This is real basketball, real energy, up close and personal to some of the League's brightest stars! It is no wonder why the Seattle Storm dominates the WNBA All Star Roster. The Storm already has one Championship, and they could well get their second title with the talented squad they have this year! The NBA has way too many showboaters and big egos. The Storm has class acts that know how to set screens, hit jumpers, fadeaways, and when LJ is on, lots of three pointers! Sue's passing is the best of the best, and her leadership on the floor is self-evident. Tip: The Key Arena food is still basic stadium food (a bit overpriced, not always hot, and mediocre quality) so I would fill up before the game or know you are going to be out a few bucks for barely warm pretzels, cold popcorn and pretty average hotdogs. Qwest and Safeco have largely gotten it right and now offer more quality and choices -- Key Arena Mgmt., please take a look at your competition!) The Storm also have some good community outreach programs, and have made Going Green a regular part of their mission. Great role models for our youth! Overall though, a Storm game is a great family outing. The relatively low price of admission for a Pro Sporting event of this caliber (with Nationally recognized talent!) cannot be beat. Come be a part of what should be another record setting year!

  • The Storm Blew Through Minnesota!!!!!

I thought this event was great. I took a friend that had never been and she was really impressed and loved it. I would like to see more Storm games.

  • Fierce Storm

by tmarth on 7/15/09KeyArena - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

It was father's day weekend, and I was looking for some family entertainment for myself and my daughter. Daddy/Daughter night! KM is 11, and has been asking me to take her to a game for quite a long time...years. Well I did, and it won't be the last! To see the excitement of women's basketball, the toughness and finess of these athletes was outstanding. She truly loved it, which made me love it even more. We will be attending more games. What a great way to spend time with your kids!
