About

Seaforth On Tour

Australian country-pop duo Seaforth couldn't deny the pull of country music and moved halfway across the world from Sydney to Nashville to pursue a career in country music.

After traveling back and forth between Australia and the U.S. for many years, co-songwriters and co-vocalists Tom Jordan and Mitch Thompson permanently relocated to America when they signed a worldwide deal with Sony Nashville, joining the same roster as Tim McGraw, Brad Paisley and Miranda Lambert.

Award-winning producer Dann Huff (Keith Urban, Carrie Underwood, Michael Jackson, and Rascal Flatts) came onboard to produce Seaforth's major-label debut, Love That, in 2019, and made the decision to leave some parts from the band's original demos in tact, which is a credit to their fully formed songwriting and performing abilities.

Featuring the evocative storytelling country music is famous for as well as pop hooks and lush harmonies, this promising band will likely follow in the footsteps of their arena-selling heroes. Catch them in a city near you before they blow up when they hit the road on their About Time Tour across the U.S. in early 2023.

Seaforth Live in Concert

Co-songwriters/vocalists Tom Jordan and Mitch Thompson met before they entered kindergarten in Sydney, Australia, at the age of 3. Growing up in a sunny, seaside Sydney suburb called Seaforth that eventually became the inspiration for their band name, they grew up playing soccer and attending high school together. They also shared a mutual love of music and artists ranging from Keith Urban to The Beatles.

Drawing on 20 years of friendship and shared musical interests, they formed Seaforth and honed their skills performing in clubs around Sydney. On a songwriting trip to Tennessee, the duo realized Nashville was where they wanted to be to pursue their music career, and they eventually relocated permanently to Music City, where they fit right in.

Having mastered the art of storytelling, chronicling the relatable sadness and despair around breakups in their song "Breakups," these rising stars have a bright future.

    Awesome show!

by StephWarn on 3/29/23Rose Music Hall - Columbia

Big fan of the venue - small, intimate. Seaforth put on a great show - played all the hits + a new song, and talked to the crowd, really kind, funny, etc. I was a fan, but now I'm a BIG fan! Thank you!

    Fun Time!

    by D.B. on 3/20/23Spotlight - Huntington

Seaforth was awesome! I think they played literally every song in their catalog. They sounded great and engaged the fans with their humor. Dylan Brady (the opener) did the same. Check out his music after and I really enjoyed it. The venue was small, but easy to get to and not overcrowded. Tickets and drinks were surprisingly cheap. Overall, amazing night!

The fellas put on a great show!

by Robyn on 3/15/23Brighton Music Hall presented by Citizens - Boston

The show was great! Seaforth is SO talented and I was excited they made it to Boston. I wish the show didn’t start so late (they came on at 9 pm and it was the Sunday night of daylight savings) because I would have loved to stick around and meet them, which they graciously offered, but I had to get home since I had work the next morning. None of that is on them though — 10/10 performance from the band! I look forward to their next show in Boston!

    Best. Concert. Ever.

by Mikayla on 3/6/23Encore at Uptown Theater - Kansas City

I’m an avid concert goer, and have been since I was able to drive myself to and from concerts, and this concert in particular was probably my favorite. The venue was small and intimate, which for some might be a drawback, but seaforth killed it. They kept the audience engaged throughout the show and really did an amazing job all around. They played all of their songs, new and old, taking some time to do an acoustic set. This was an up-close and personal performance, and I don’t think I’ve ever been so close to the stage. It was incredible and a concert I’m sure to never forget. So much love for this band and a new love for this small venue.
