    Scott Stapp: San Manuel

by DeweyNick on 10/2/10San Manuel Indian Bingo and Casino - Highland

Good show, strange venue. The show was in the Bingo room, using all the Bingo chairs. Audio was pretty good. Scott sounded good, can't hit highs anymore, but who cares. The acoustic versions of the Creed songs and his solo stuff worked well.

    Poet & Storyteller is Back

by impaler09 on 10/2/10San Manuel Indian Bingo and Casino - Highland

The Poet and Incredible Rock vocalist has returned. He poured out his story and soul in every breath. I could have listened and reveled for hours. What an honor it was to hear about his journey. I was inspired by his humility and strength.

    Enjoyed Scott Stapp

by the1elleo on 10/2/10San Manuel Indian Bingo and Casino - Highland

was great to see a mini-Creed concert in the smaller casino setting! Scott's performance was shorter than my husband would've liked, but sweet nonetheless. (Would like to mention that i really enjoy the casino venue for concerts!)

Scott was one of the best concerts ever !

by PurchPro1 on 10/2/10San Manuel Indian Bingo and Casino - Highland

I have been a huge fan of Scott and Creed for awhile now, but wasn't sure what to expect with the "Intimate and Acoustic" title - I found Scott's honesty and sincerity very moving - he told us the background stories of many of the songs he wrote, which really helped me to understand where he was coming from. He looked great (has the longer hair back), his voice was fantastic, and the the band, which he said were friends of his from way back, were amazing. I took a friend who wasn't that familiar with Scott's music and he said it was an awesome concert. I will never forget being able to share an evening with Scott and getting to know a little more about him.

Great show! Scott explained the song that he sang in between songs. That was interesting to find out how he and the band were feeling at the time of the song being created. I will definitely see him or Creed play next time I get a chance.

    Alright

by JohnnySnowfield on 10/2/10San Manuel Indian Bingo and Casino - Highland

The show was great but the drunk people really became a distraction and interrupted the show. I mostly blame the security at San Manuel for this. Scott Stapp played all the Creed hits and some of his solo work and all of them sounded fantastic. Acoustic, although calmer, does present a new way to appreciate old hits. Overall, fantastic experience.

Excellent show! Feel that Scott Stapp puts his "all" into his performance and did an excellent job between songs to include the audience in his personal beliefs. It gave an intimate feel to the show...which I very much enjoyed!

Scott Stapp's Acoustic Tour Opening Night

by Mitze on 10/1/10Revolution Live - Ft Lauderdale

I thought I had done this but I was prompted to review; another chance to share my experience, twist my arm! Firstly, I had purchased the VIP tickets so I was able to be there for some of the sound check and we did a meet and greet with the boys as well! The sound check was phenomenal! Scott always the perfectionist wanted it perfect for us, and let us be witness to his artistry! Eric Friedman was rocking it too, I mean they all sounded, well perfect. We then did the M&G and the boys were SO nice! I had to throw in there that since I was from Miami, we did the whole kiss and hug thing... they are a class act! He autographed my poster and we took a picture - (I scratched one item off my bucket list!) The show started about 8:40pm... HE was ready... WE were ready! Scott sounds SO good live! Even if your not a fan, try and catch this show if possible. I mean the acoustic show was amazing! He performed some of the familiar songs (Creed) with a new spin whice was great! I was familiar with his first solo record and was hoping he would do all my favorites, I WAS NOT disappointed! With that said, to actually hear it live UGH! Magical! I don't know if it was the smoky room, the intimate venue, the crowd... whatever it was... to actually hear, Justify, Surround Me, The Great Divide - well it all conspired to create an amazing night that I will never forget! I'm grateful that Scott shares his amazing talent with all of us and he is constantly affecting who I am! I took two friends with me, that were not necessarily fans before AND now they are! Take a friend, go alone, or on a date, BUT try not to miss it! You will not regret it! The small venue made it seem as if we were having a little getty and Scott just dropped by and decided to sing some songs... share his thoughts with us on how some songs came to be, you know, just conversation and music - that's it! AWESOME! I wish them luck on their tour and when they're done changing the world, I hope they finish it off one more time here at home!!!!

    A+++

by Imagine013 on 9/30/10Revolution Live - Ft Lauderdale

The concert went beyond my expectations! cool venue & great vibe! there was a really intimate and warm feeling which is characteristic of 'unplugged' type of concerts. The band played so nicely and Scott's sang all the songs which such passion! The only con is that the concert started an hour past 8 and was supposed to start at 8PM. We were even lucky enough to get a picture with him!!

Simply the best concert in history

by Gremista on 9/30/10Revolution Live - Ft Lauderdale

We were in about 200 people in the venue i guess, it felt like a VIP concert, everyone was so close to Scott, and he was interacting with the crowd like friends... i was so close to him that I got to take a picture of the set list! For my favorite artist of all time, being so close to him, in a almost VIP concert, it just couldn't be better, I wish I have gotten the VIP package so I could say to Scott Stapp a big THANK YOU, for this day that I will never forget, I'm so proud I was there, it was absolutely amazing, there's no word to describe how exciting it was!

Scott Stapp's Acoustic Tour - Opening Night!

by Mitze on 9/29/10Revolution Live - Ft. Lauderdale

Wow! Yes I am a huge fan of Creed and of course Scott! I went to see Creed in WPB on 08/31/10 and it was incredible. With that said, this particular performance was something unlike anything I've experienced before. It was almost as if we had a private party and Scott decided to perform for us! Scott did some Creed songs but mostly his solo work. The small venue and smoky club made it almost mystical in a sense. It was amazing to see him sit on a stool and delivering the words so powerfully with that amazing voice! Again, yes I'm a fan but I took two of my friends with me that were familiar with some of his more pop hits but not his solo stuff. Guess what, they love him now! His voice sounded great! He told stories in between songs about how the songs came to be, which was great! Truly I would recommend that everyone, even if your not a fan, come out and experience the show. He continues to affect people, one person at a time! I was changed by seeing him during this acoustic tour! I wish him, Eric and the rest of the band/crew, an awesome and successful tour and hope they finish back home so I get the opportunity to take some more friends and recruit them! We even saw him and his wife in the parking lot after the show and they were so polite, signed a few autographs and took pictures... he is a class act! Most definitely recommended!!!!
