About

Proving that everything new can be old again, pianist Scott Bradlee has become a viral pop sensation after creating a series of clips for YouTube that finds him and his ad hoc group Postmodern Jukebox reworking 21st century pop hits in a variety of vintage styles -- transforming Miley Cyrus' "We Can't Stop" into a '50s-style doo wop number, giving Macklemore's "Thrift Shop" a '20s jazz accent, crossing Daft Punk's "Get Lucky" with Irish folk music, and showing how Ke$ha's "Die Young" would work as a classic country tune.

    Postmodern Jukebox - FANTASTIC !!

by Fitrepairs on 5/18/15The National - Richmond

I really wasn't sure how much I would like this , as I only heard them a few times on YouTube, but I was not disappointed. Postmodern is all talent; the rhythm section, vocals ,and tap were all unforgettable. Their swing take on new music is brilliant and really got the crowd going. The group looked as thought they were having as much fun as the audience, and it was contagious. I found a new favorite and look forward to the next time they are in Richmond VA !! GO SEE THIS GROUP !

    Postmodern Jukebox is amazing!

by MrDog23 on 5/11/15Upstate Concert Hall - Clifton Park

We were a little surprised to find the Upstate Concert Hall is in a strip mall, located halfway betwixt a Job Lots and a salon or something. Once in line, my wife and I were again surprised to see the mix of people that came to the show! From 13 years old through a fellow well into his 70s. It was a friendly crowd, too. The band was excellent, and the singers were all amazing. It was a great cabaret style show, and we had a ton of fun seeing them! I would love to see them again!

    Always a great show

    by aerynsun3 on 5/4/15Wilbur Theatre - Boston

always very fun and entertaining. It's amazing to have a live tapdancer be part of the rhythm section. Watching that in itself is one of the most enjoyable parts of the show. All of the singers have their own personalities and it comes out in each performance. This was my second time going and I will definitely be going again!

Not as good as last time

by Anonymous on 5/4/15Wilbur Theatre - Boston

The new singer with the white streak of hair was not as good as the rest of the signers. Her jokes were dated and not original. Overall energy for the entire show was not as high as the show they at the Wilbur last fall. A lot of the same songs were preformed that they did last fall also.

    Postmodern Jukebox Rocks!

by NYbornandraised on 5/4/15Wilbur Theatre - Boston

Great, high energy show! The tap-dancing was phenomenal. A+ musicians and vocals. Would highly recommend to anyone that enjoys a bit of the off-beat; as well as families with tweens.

    Disappointing

by Anonymous on 5/3/15Wilbur Theatre - Boston

They didn't have any singers that I really enjoy--kind of bottom barrel. Also, all of the songs were songs previously covered on their YouTube channel. Nothing original! I went to their last show in Boston and was expecting something new/fresh for the spring tour.
