  • Scissor Sisters are like no other!

by Jordymac on 3/22/11Ogden Theatre - DenverRating: 5 out of 5

My friend and I totally loved the show. The band was so full of energy and sounded amazing. It is a rare thing these days for the band to sound just as good live as they do on a CD/Itunes. Love the Scissor Sisters more than ever!!

  • Scissor Sisters gave all they had!!

The Scissor Sisters are incredible. Both times I saw them at the Ogden and they truly give everything they have in their show. So much energy. They love their fans and we love them.

Been listening to these guys for years but this was my first time seeing them live. Super fun, full of energy, and generally baddass. Don't miss them if you have the opportunity!

  • Lots of energy and excitement once things started

    by M80127 on 3/22/11Ogden Theatre - DenverRating: 3 out of 5

8pm start ? Not likely For those that arrived 30 minutes early it was an awfully long wait before the DJ packed up and let the band come out and then the accoustics - normally very good in the Ogden were poor at best. Very hard to hear the lyrics at all.

  • One word: Awesome!!

by Winmeister on 3/22/11Ogden Theatre - DenverRating: 5 out of 5

Scissor Sisters ROCKED!! Would highly recommend seeing them. Very entertaining...lots of energy...everything you'd expect in a show. I can't wait until they come back to Denver!

They put on an amazing show, the energy is electrifying! I've seen many concerts and they are my fav by far.

  • Five star show, as expected!

by COoperafan on 3/22/11Ogden Theatre - DenverRating: 5 out of 5

This is the second time I've seen Scissor Sisters and they did not fail to impress. Great music, sassy lyrics, amazing energy. They are true artists and seem genuinely concerned that their fans have as much fun as they do on stage. I would have preferred that the opening DJ play a bit shorter set, but other than that, I don't have anything I would change about the evening!

  • Scissor Sister concert was worth the ticket.

by MccJBM on 3/22/11Ogden Theatre - DenverRating: 4 out of 5

This was my first Scissor Sister concert and it was packed with people dancing and singing almost the entire time. They put on a great performance and I was entertained the whole time and I have high expectations at a concert!

They are hands down the best band to see live!! They have so much energy and love for their fans! AMAZING doesn't even begin to describe them!

It was a nonstop show that was off the charts. We never stopped dancing and the entire crowd was into the show.

They played for almost two hours and it was such a high energy show. I loved every second of it!!!

  • Scissor Sisters are AWESOME

    by CarrieR76 on 3/13/11The Blue Note - ColumbiaRating: 5 out of 5

The concert itself was incredible; it was the 2nd time I'd seen Scissor Sisters live and they DO NOT disappoint. They played a great mix from all 3 of their albums and the high energy opening "Night Work" really got the crowd going. Jake Shears and Ana Matronic are great showpeople. My only complaint was the amount of time it took for the show to start. I thought it was supposed to begin at 8; the band didn't come on for TWO HOURS. Everyone had to stand on a hard concrete floor listening to a bad DJ for two hours. By that point I felt like I was ready to move on to the next bar or go home. Not good to keep the crowd waiting that long. I did love the show though; seeing them in a small, more intimate venue was great.

  • fun, super high energy show

It was a really energetic show. It took a while for the actual show to start but when it did it was worth it. I would go again.

  • One of the best energetic bands

by ShowstoppingDiva on 3/13/11The Blue Note - ColumbiaRating: 5 out of 5

Friday night's show in Columbia, MO with the Scissor Sisters was truly something else. This was my second time seeing the group and this time road tripped two hours to see them since they weren't coming to Kansas City. Just about every song they play is catchy, high energy, and makes you move. I also enjoy a band that sounds like the songs they've recorded -and the Scissor Sisters do not fail. The two hour set was fast paced and I felt like it was gone in a blink but they managed to play all the hits of their first two albums and some of the great songs off their latest, "Night Work". The venue was great for them and here's the part that will always get me there: the tickets are so inexpensive. Granted they might not get consistent radio play (they're also touring as the opening band for Lady Gaga), they are always at their best even if playing a small town in the middle of Missouri.
