  • Redone songs for Christmas were great.

by shirl48 on 12/5/09Skagit Valley Casino Pacific Showroom - BowRating: 4 out of 5

As always this was a great show. Toned down from the last one. My lead singer seemed to have a slight voice problem. Hope it was just a cold he had.

  • Sawyer Brown Christmas Show

by JoJoCricket on 12/5/09Skagit Valley Casino Pacific Showroom - BowRating: 5 out of 5

This show was rocking!! We were treated to 1 1/2 hours of music and fun. I would see this show again and again. Sawyer Brown dazzled the crowd and with the room fitting only 460 people, you felft like they were there just for you!!

  • Sawyer Brown was "all that" and more!

by MontMA on 12/5/09Skagit Valley Casino Pacific Showroom - BowRating: 5 out of 5

The venue is small enough that every seat is great. The band came out with great energy and caught the crowd right off. They were booked under a "Christmas Show". I was worried they wouldn't play any of their original music but they gave us it all. I was very happy.

  • Sawyer Brown - First Time

by BTDT on 12/5/09Skagit Valley Casino Pacific Showroom - BowRating: 4 out of 5

We saw Sawyer Brown for the first time at the Skagit Casino in Bow. I didn't know what to totally expect, but they sort of surprised me with their great Christmas song arrangements. Listening to those songs on the CD driving home reinforced how good they were. I would have like a longer concert (around 1.5 hours) as they have a much bigger body of work.

  • Sawyer Brown full of energy

by BluebonnetNewJersey on 9/15/09Atlantic City Hilton - Atlantic CityRating: 4 out of 5

There old and new songs were very good. I wish they played a little longer. I also wish they would come to the East Coast once a year. I believe the theater was sold out.

The lighting at the rodeo was very bad, it was VERY dark.

  • WHAT A SHOW!

    by TS14NO1FAN on 8/31/09Colorado State Fair - PuebloRating: 5 out of 5

I have seen Sawyer Brown before--several years ago and they were great then and still great now! It started raining about 3 songs into their set, but that gdidn't slow them down at all. They adjusted the stage a bit out of the rain and kept right on going. Mark Miller still has all of his energy on stage and the guys put on a great show! I am looking forward to their new album!

  • CO state fair rodeo + Sawyer Brown

by hickifino on 8/31/09Colorado State Fair - PuebloRating: 4 out of 5

I'd never seen a rodeo before - It was fun! A contestant was stepped on by a horse and that was tough to watch. Good that the action goes by so quickly. Rodeo cowboys and NFL players are the two types of athletes that die young. I now know why. Events were quick and every changing, so the evening zipped by! I'd never seen Sawyer Brown before and they were excellent - full of energy and dry wit. Played a lot of their 28 years worth of songs and some new ones off their CD to be released in Fall 09. Rained hard on the crowd for about 20 minutes, but most stayed and danced in the rain.

  • Sawyer Brown Awesome as usual

Been listening to and enjoying SB for over 20 years, Awesome concert as usual.

  • Rodeo and Sawyer Brown were very entertaining

by jimrm on 8/31/09Colorado State Fair - PuebloRating: 4 out of 5

We took an exchange student from Finland, a horse enthusiast herself. She found the rodeo to be "bigger" and more exciting than she expected. We were all amazed at the skill and daring of the cowboys and cowgirls. The announcers added good fun to it all. Sawyer Brown was terrific! It was our exchange student's first real exposure to American country music, and she and we enjoyed it tremendously. The rain didn't dampen the experience as fans under the roof were accommodating to those of us getting wet.

  • Sawyer Brown was AMAZING!!!!

They were amazing. The entire set was full of energy and fun. Played all of the old hits and a few new ones in spite of the T-storm in the background.

  • Another off- the-charts performance

by blondebrowneyedgirl on 8/30/09Colorado State Fair - PuebloRating: 5 out of 5

This was a first full-fledged rodeo experience for me and the sixth Sawyer Brown concert I have had the pleasure of attending. Being no expert on the finer details of rodeos, I will say the athletes were entertaining and professional, and the in-between events acts with the rodeo clown and sponsors left us roaring with laughter. As for Sawyer Brown's performance, I am certain they are better every time I see them. Their energy inspires an audience like no other band could...with dancers staying on the rodeo grounds through pouring rain, the fans singing every word to every hit, and delighted squeals at the ever-unpredictable famous dancing of Mark Miller and the band members. High quality, chart-topping entertainment is what Sawyer Brown consistently provides. Two songs off of an upcoming album celebrating the group's twenty-five years on Curb records were performed, and, as all their songs do, left the audience cheering in a standing ovation.
