Saratoga Race Course Club Terrace Dining Tickets

Our visit to the Club Terrace was a major disappointment to say the least. The table we got was far from the one we anticipated but that’s due to the app and the way they show the tables available. The waiter came over and asked if we’d like to order and we said we’ll start with a drink. He asked for the credit card up front before we ordered our meals which I did think was a little strange. After he brought the drinks we waited about a half hour before seeing him again. We placed our order and waited over a half hour for the food to come. When we were ready to leave the table to go downstairs and watch the races outside we tried to find the waiter. We finally found him and got the bill. However, he neglected to return the credit card. We didn’t realize that until we went to dinner that evening and when we went to pay we realized what had happened. I froze the card and cancelled it and am now waiting for a new card to come.

Paid $83 to reserve table. Was seated with menus and waited 20 min and no one ever came by to take any drink/food order. Noticed that meals were served in take out containers like everything was pre-made. We got up and left with a lesfon learned. . Figured for the extra $$ paid you’d get service. Plenty of food options and places to sit elsewhere at Track for FREE! Don’t waste your $$$ like we did .

Service was very slow and the food was only fair. At least the menu offered more choices than available elsewhere.

Saratoga is a very busy happening place and we really enjoyed the quieter, more laid back Clubhouse Terrace. The menu was delightful the staff, Rachel and Elias in particular were gracious and accommodating. Even our elevator girl with pink hair took the time to make sure everyone got where they were going. I cannot thank you enough for a truly wonderful week of racing.

Seating is fine. Food is pricey and basic. Drinks are in plastic glasses . Wine is $14 a tiny cup. $5 to 7 for bottled water. You can easily spend the minimum.

The menu in one word stinks. Very few choices and not good.

The menu at the Club Terrace was terrible. Not only are there not enough options but the quality could have been easily improved. It’s as if they don’t want to provide good quality options. Easy fix. Do it

Plummer our server was excellent. She had trouble with the kitchen delivering our order. They missed our order and we cancelled.

The servers were extremely friendly. It’s the same Panera Bread style food served in other parts of Saratoga. The terrace floods when it rains, which isn’t safe for anyone, and the mud from a previous rain was on the floor when we got there. Really not worth it. Aim for the porch instead.

It was a fun day at the track. Unfortunately, you cant control the rain, however, you can control the the water coming up through the floor. That lead to flooding in our table area. My cousin did a spectacular job putting this day together for us. That incident took away from our experience. Our server did a great job under the circumstances. You need to address your operations issues.

I have been going to the Saratoga every year for over 50 years. Each year, our group gets seats in the Grandstand or Clubhouse and often spends at least one afternoon at a picnic table in the Paddock. In addition, we spend one day in either the Turf Terrace, Club Terrace, or the Porch. This year we reserved a large table for 8 in the Club Terrace. The Club Terrace has never been as elegant as the Turf Terrace, but it has always been a fine dining experience in a casual atmosphere and a covered roof to protect from the elements but also allowing for a cool breeze to pass through. The tables used to be set with a linen tablecloth, linen napkins, actual silverware, glassware, one menu per person, and a centerpiece vase of flowers. Not anymore. When we arrived, the table had no cover, paper napkins, plastic silverware, and one menu for the entire table. While the service was fine, the food was awful and delivered in plastic and paper to-go boxes. It was the equivalent of food that you would expect to get from a gas station minimart refrigerator that was prepared three days ago and then microwaved. It was awful and beneath what anyone would expect from a dive diner. In addition, the tables were crowed together and it was an obstacle course trying to navigate through the arrangement of tables and chairs to go to a bathroom or watch the race live from the rail behind the clubhouse seats. In addition, as the day wore on, the adjacent bar and serving stand was leaking ice and water all along the floor so everyone was walking through muck to get back to your seat at the table. It was such a let down from the morning anticipation for a glorious day that quickly turned into a miserable afternoon. And no, I did not lose on the horses - I won, but that didn't overcome the feeling of NYRA and Saratoga becoming just another company/organization with short term thinking about the bottom line instead of valuing the actual customers who would love to come back year after year but after this experience mutter the words "Never Again". Overall - just a horrible experience.

STAY AWAY The Racing Venue was GREAT but not the Club Terrace. Service was horrible. Very limited menu. Waited 20 minutes service. There were only 5 tables occupied at that time. My Turkey club had ice flakes on the meat in addition to a piece of un cooked bacon. My wife had 3 slices of tomato and a piece of cheese. You spend $25.00 per seat in addition to the food. $150.00 Insane I should have read the reviews!! NEVER AGAIN NEVER AGAIN

Nice to sit at a table, have some food & beverages under cover out of the elements. Oh did I mention we won some bets too!

While the food was good and the waitress ( who was the only one out there) was amazing it was not at all what I expected !! The tables were stuffed in a small space and considering it was not at all full there was no need to cram everyone so close together. Way to close for comfort - unable to see any of the TVs from where we were. Definitely will not be doing that again!!

Wait staff was very good. We will bring our own food and sit on the club house benches. All in all way too expensive for what we got.

We love the Saratoga Track and go every year. Our table at Club Terrace was fine, and our server was quite attentive. The food has tAken a backslide. The charcuterie plate with a few crackers, was uninspired. It’s served in a disposable picnic container. The utensils are now plastic. The food and menu need work.

Loved everything about Saratoga. Beautiful facilities, friendly staff, eating options, and the horses are spectacular.

Our wait staff did a great job! We had Steak Street Tacos and Boar's Head Turkey Sandwich. Both were very good. We sat at table 89. We looked at trash cans, open cupboards, tables cluttered with staff perdonal items, etc. The ice was leaking all over. The floors were very dirty.

I purchased valet parking & Club Terrace Dining because of my limited mobility. Where I dropped my car & had to pick it up was unmanageable. For the cost, valet parking should have taken my car at the Club Terrace & returned it there. It was a waste of money.
