Sarah Millican is one of the funniest comedians out there. I was impressed by her energy, which she maintained throughout the show. I have watched her on YouTube and wasn’t sure if she would be as good in person, but she was actually even better. The opening act was very good as well, which was refreshing.
The venue, however, leaves a bit to be desired, mainly because the flat floor means that having a tall person seated in front of you will ruin your view. I spent the evening moving back and forth because the person in front of me would not sit still and get closing the tiny gap I had for a view. It also became a bit warm with all the bodies crammed in. The full house did attest to Sarah Millican’s popularity. I was impressed that she has so many fans in Texas because not everyone gets the British sense of humor. Now if you can just get Michael McIntyre to come to Houston, I’ll be there!
