SAOSIN IN CONCERT:

Founding frontman and beloved post-hardcore icon Anthony Green returned to Saosin in 2014 after a decade away from the band, thrilling fans with adrenaline-filled performances of favorites like "Seven Years" and "Lost Symphonies". Green's chemistry with the group was undeniable, and his surprise return to the band was cause for celebration among new and diehard fans alike. Whether they're performing cuts from their self-titled 2006 debut or brand-spanking new  tracks like "Riff", Saosin and Green always deliver an unforgettable show, flooring ticket buyers with thrash-worthy sets full of amped-up post-hardcore energy.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Saosin formed in Newport Beach, CA in 2003 and released their debut EP Translating the Name the same year. Original lead singer Anthony Green left the band the following year when they decided to sign with a major label (Capitol Records), and vocalist Cove Reber stepped in to take his place. The band released a self-titled EP with Reber in 2005, and in 2006 they released their self-titled debut album to a No. 7 spot on the Top Rock Albums chart. The band spent the next several years touring extensively, including two stints on the Taste of Chaos Tour as well as tours with Senses Fail, Alexisonfire, and Poison the Well. Following the 2009 release of their sophomore album In Search of Solid Ground, the band parted ways with Reber, kicking off a search for a new frontman that kept fans guessing over the course of several years. The waiting paid off when Anthony Green rejoined the band in 2014, thrilling both longtime and recent fans with the announcement of tour dates in celebration of the reunion. Saosin with Anthony Green started penning new material together imeediately, generating massive excitement among fans for the group's upcoming shows.

  • Saosin @ The Underground at Fillmore Charlotte

    by A on 5/16/23The Underground - CharlotteRating: 5 out of 5

Saosin was great! They definitely put their all into the show, was awesome! The venue, (The Underground at Fillmore Charlotte) had the audio volumes all messed up. Could barely hear the vocals at times, that was pretty disappointing. Had the vocals way too quite! Their drinks are way too expensive, even for a concert venue they are high! Really frustrating to pay $25 per drink at venue and them not even have good audio setup!

  • Amazing time.

My husband and I took our teenage daughters for their first show, and we all enjoyed it. Great venue and great band.

  • They didn't play one old song...not one

by eraves on 5/15/23The Underground - CharlotteRating: 3 out of 5

Everyone was disappointed and honestly rightfully so. They did not play a single old song that are the most popular. I had fun because of my friends, super underwhelming.

  • Sounded Great but overall way short!!!

    by Woodman02 on 3/27/16Revolution Live - Ft LauderdaleRating: 2 out of 5

First all I will state that Saosin sounded great! That's the only positive I can say. They were the headliner and played a total of 11 songs and were on stage for less than an hour. Tickets with fees were just over $40 a piece and you get less than an hour? I attend over 25 concerts a year for over 15 years on average and I have never had a headliner play that short. In addition they played zero songs from their previous singer. Couple thing on this one, if you are going to do that please state it to your fans a head of time. Second, say what you will about the self titled album it was by far their most successful and zero songs from it. And as a reward for an 11 song set lasting less than an hour Saosin charges $25 for a tshirt. Greatly appreciated!

Saosin was flat out amazing, the Souvenirs were great, and Seizure (I think) was okay, their drummer was sick nasty.

Had a blast at House of Blues Houston as usual - love this place. The venue is small enough for that intimate feeling, but large enough to hold a good amount of people and not feel like you are suffocating. Saosin was great - first time for me to see these guys. Had an overall awesome time. GA is the way to go every time!

  • SAOSIN IS BACK!

by AJFRESH on 1/28/15House of Blues Houston - HoustonRating: 5 out of 5

The concert was too FRESH! I can't wait for them to jump back into the studio and come out with some new music!

  • Very small setlist, forgettable openers

by PostPostHardcore on 1/27/15South Side Ballroom - DallasRating: 3 out of 5

The concert was...okay. It was pretty great to hear AG back with Saosin revisiting the Translating the Name EP. However, the whole show was either from this EP or a couple of new songs. Personally I didn't overly mind but several people with me were at least hoping Anthony tackled ONE song from Saosins self titled or other music post TTN-EP. Instead we got to hear Seven Years twice, which was both good and bad. The venue was meh, just a lot of concrete and overpriced drinks. The openers failed to connect with the crowd and kind of fizzled.

  • Saosin= phenomenal

by Nickwhoever on 1/26/15South Side Ballroom - DallasRating: 5 out of 5

Best show I've seen in Dallas the two years I have been here, never would have thought to see Anthony green back in saosin but I'm so stoked I did I'm 25 and been listening to the band since I was 12 or 13, could not have asked for a better performance, the venue was amazing as well!

The night was simply amazing. My 17 year old self was extremely happy. Getting to hear all the oldies with some of my best friends was awesome. The show was overall perfection.

  • Very fun night!

by FrankieAntunez on 6/9/14The Fox Theater - Pomona - PomonaRating: 5 out of 5

It was great seeing one of my all time favorite bands live since it was my first time. The theatre itself is really nice and the sound quality is awesome. It was very cool sharing the experience with other people who love the band as well. Growing up, Saosin was my comfort during certain situations and problems. Now as an adult, I've gotten the chance to see them and I will never forget that.

Hands down best show ever. Saosin and Anthony Green need to record an album together.

  • Saosin with Anthony Green WAS AMAZING

    by Arc21 on 6/9/14The Fox Theater - Pomona - PomonaRating: 4 out of 5

This show could have done a lot better with two different opening acts. In Transmission was alright, but their music made me drowsy and Night Riots... Their name was misleading I mean the music they played was completely nothing as to what I was expecting. All I really wanted to see was Saosin and be on my way. Only reason worthwhile was Saosin with Anthony Green I mean that was a lifetime opportunity to be able to see them play together again after so many years.

  • Saosin was so worth the wait! I love them!

The show in Anaheim was amazing because Saosin played everything from their brand new album to some fantastic old songs and really got the crowd going. I would go back tonight if I could.

A Great Venue. Lots of fun, and really loud. Had a great time. Got to meet a lot of cool people. Met some Eye Alaska band members and close friends. The show was awesome. A lot of people showed up. Not enough chairs to go around.
