    Go, Spartans!

by Anonymous on 10/9/18CEFCU Stadium - Formerly Spartan Stadium - San Jose

This was our first ever experience watching a Spartans football game at the Spartan Stadium. My husband and I are 68 y.o. and we went with our 18 y.o. grand daughter. We had a great time and look forward to the next home game. All staff (security, ticket takers) were friendly and professional. I felt like the staff was accessible if I had questions or concerns.

$90 a ticket to sit on metal bleachers?

by Drummerhawk99 on 10/2/18CEFCU Stadium - Formerly Spartan Stadium - San Jose

The game was fun, but only because we were able to move to seats with backs. It’s ridiculous to pay this amount for such a poor stadium facility.

Get your rules straight stadium management

by pissedoffalumna on 10/12/16CEFCU Stadium - Formerly Spartan Stadium - San Jose

I went to the game with my 7 year old son. I knew that outside food would not be let in but I didn't think applied to children's SEALED snacks such as gummies and rice crackers. A couple of cuties and a banana. Items that are NOT sold at Spartan Stadium. Not only was I made to throw them out, in front of my child, but I had to actually dispose of them in a trash can. Perfectly good, sealed food. Could you 1. have some common sense and let in children's snacks and fresh food items, items that you do not to sell and some people may need due to dietary restrictions. 2. provide donation containers so that perfectly good food does not go to waste, and 3. if you are going to have this rule maybe it would be better to post it on large signs everywhere BEFORE you get to the gate and get surprised and upset. I am also an alumni and expect a lot better service and response from Spartan Stadium than what I was subjected to this past weekend.

Amazing seats at a good price

by glars3 on 11/30/15Spartan Stadium - San Jose

We did not pay a whole lot for our tickets, but they were probably the best seats I have ever had. We were closer to the field than my parents were able to sit at my high school football games. The game itself was great for us as well. They are metal bleachers, so plan accordingly. And bring a jacket for when the sun drops below the stadium. Other than those tips, really incredible.

SJSU vs SDSU a good match-up

by SonofWestwood on 10/21/15Spartan Stadium - San Jose

Overall a good match , location and feeling at the game was good. Gave me the sense of being at a small city showdown between California and conference rivals.

Game Was Great, Venue Was Horrid

by TSail on 11/4/14Spartan Stadium - San Jose

We absolutely enjoyed the game. Both Colorado State and San Jose State played hard, solid football. However, it must be difficult for SJSU to recruit. The venue is awful. That is a tremendous amount of rotted wood holding up the steps and the bleachers. The stadium is so bad, it will keep us from attending another event there.

    UNR vs San Jose State

by WolfPackMom66 on 9/30/14Spartan Stadium - San Jose

As a Wolf Pack ( University of Nevada/Reno) parent, we were thrilled with the winning outcome. The bleacher seats are very steep and requires walking up a fairly long and steep incline to get to the top of the bleachers and then down many stairs to get to the seat. Sat on the 50 yard line so great view. Section 130 at San Jose State Stadium.

SJSU v. Fresno State Football 2013

by sparta2013 on 12/3/13Spartan Stadium - San Jose

One of the most exciting games I have seen at Spartan Stadium in many years. Over 1000 yards of offense combined in the first half. If you like offense this was the game to see. The Spartans have had an up and down season however they have been exciting to watch. Attendance at Spartan Stadium is up about 50% this year over last year. SJSU counts butts in the seats, not tickets distributed. Parking is becoming an issue. Arrive early. Go Spartans.

    Concessions

by Anonymous on 12/2/13Spartan Stadium - San Jose

The concession stands were the worst that I have ever been to. Waited in line for 45 minutes during the second quarter and ended up getting warm sodas because they ran out and got more delivered. Ever hear of a fountain drink???

Fresno State Bulldogs WR #15 Adams did his thing!

by Browngoods on 12/2/13Spartan Stadium - San Jose

I believe there were a lot of distractions taking place during the game but then our defense didn't play their best during this game either. However, the bulldogs are still the best, they are unstoppable. Go Bulldogs!!!

Great venue 4 nailbiter between Navy & San Jose St

by PGWoodie on 11/25/13Spartan Stadium - San Jose

Great site for a college football game. Lots of Navy & San Jose St fans in attendance with plenty of pre-game tailgating. A kid friendly environment. We were row 33 on the Navy side 50 yard line--seats don't get any better than that. Had my wife & three 10 year old boys in tow--all three of them loved it. Scoreboard is amazing--have not seen one that bright at any sporting venue. Things to fix--(1) signs for the stadium (& especially stadium parking) from the freeway are not the best--easy to miss the signs & get lost (I did-even w/ Google maps). We parked on the street, but would have gladly parked in a paid lot had we known where one was. (2) Traffic to get around the stadium was poorly orchestrated. Reserve police officers were at a few intersections, but were unable to keep the floow moving. I have a feeling it probably was due to slow getting cars into the lot. This also caused us to park on the street. (3) Food lines are long and slow--our high school does a better job of getting people through the line quicker. Nachos were not very good. Needs work!

    Great football game!

by Gravman on 10/30/13Spartan Stadium - San Jose

There is no place like Spartan Stadium to watch a great college football game! The facility is old, but every seat is really close to the action on the field. The views are spectacular. Parking for this event was difficult, and I recommend you get to the stadium as early as possible to avoid delays. I usually park offsite and walk down to the stadium.
