The sound system was ear-splittingly loud, my Apple Watch kept warning me that the sound levels were 90-110 dB, and that 30 minutes over 90 dB can cause permanent hearing loss. This was from the sound/announcement system, not the crowd. We were going to leave after the first period because of that, when I couldn't get earplugs anywhere (the lady at the pro shop suggested I drive to Wal-Mart), but luckily I was able to find someone that had two extra pairs during intermission, so we were able to tolerate the rest of the game. Other than the sound issue (and the poor quality of the overpriced pizza, not surprising though), the game was enjoyable (despite their loss). It's much more intimate compared to SAP Center. I admit it is my fault for not being prepared with earplugs, but I figured since it's a much smaller stadium, they probably wouldn't be necessary. I did not expect them to use the same volume levels they need to fill SAP Center, however... We will go back, but only with adequate ear protection.
It Was A Great Experience... Definitely Want To Go Back !!!
I Love How It's So Small. Every Seat Is Great . Great Team,Great Crowd And Great Overall Experience.
Tech Cu Arena is small and personal. We got a great view of the action. The Barrcuda and the Condors were exciting.
Are used to go to San Jose sharks games all the time. In fact, I used to work as a contractor when it was being built. My wife I never been to a hockey game and I haven’t been to a sharks game in a very, very long time. Ticket prices were so much but I decided to try the barracudas. I’ve never been to one of their games. Now I will be going to my third game. Brandon arena. Nice seating they play fast and hard. You can’t beat bike experience. Of course it’s not the NHL, but to watch some good hockey you can’t beat it. Plus, I can never afford to go to a sharks game and be sitting in the first row in front a glass like a can at the barracudas game. It was great. Had a couple people get checked into the glass and rattle, so hard that I had actually jumped a couple of times. My next game also be first row on the glass and can’t wait. For the experience of a hockey game and you live in that area go during it is brand new it’s Marshall anything really is a good seat.
Always a good time going to these games. Even decided to get season tickets. Great atmosphere and not really a bad seat in the house.
Had a blast at the game! Even tho we lost. Would go again!
It was great experience and the kids were screaming and cheering for the Barracudas always cool hope to be there next year Go Barracudas 🥅🏒 Bathrooms very accessible and clean
TechCU Arena had a great atmosphere. The seats were nice and due to it being an AHL game and not the NHL, the tickets were dirt cheap. Parking can be a bit of a hassle if you arrive only a short while before the game, but you can manage. Overall a fun experience and would go again
We went our friends and their kids and everyone had a great time. Very appropriate for all ages with lots of action and music. The food choices are a little limited but all delicious
Check in went great, now to find your seats I. The upper level, I asked 3 well dressed ushers and nobody could tell me, there maps didn’t indicate how to get to level 2 section 214. Finally found a custodial lady that took us to the elevator, once on second floor I asked another usher, she had trouble reading the map given her, so we wandered until we found it, whew, now for refreshments oops nothing on the 2nd deck, back to the elevator, very inconvenient when you get no help at such a beautiful facility, after the game we found a staircase that took us too the 1st level and refreshment area, wow who knew if could be simple, I guess I don’t need a well dressed usher after all!
Great Night For Black History Night @ The Reef and it was organized very well and loved being on the scoreboard Wednesday, February 15 2023 go barracudas 🥅🏒
I love hockey, but when the sharks are out of town, I love to catch the Barracuda games. They are family friendly, exciting and there isn’t a bad seat in the house. So much fun to be had. Great atmosphere.
The arena is great. Loved watching my Wranglers there. Great good, great atmosphere
Great venue, ample parking, good family fun and an exciting team. Perfect hockey experience.
The primary reason for coming to the January 20 Barracuda game was to see the brand new Tech CU Arena; Bay Country Night seemed like a good promotion since I listen to that station. The arena is nice and very intimate. We seem so close to the action that I have to be more alert of flying pucks. And I had 2 $1 hot dogs. The giveaway foam cowboy hat was a joke. I could barely get it on my head.
Great arena to watch the game, quality food absolutely loved the Korean beef tacos, and energetic atmosphere with tons of crowd interaction!!! Plus there’s skating rink for family next door.
Thank you to Jonathan for an experience of a life time. My nephew 4 yr old Giovanni talked about the game all day Thank you for making this a great experience Thank you Paul Saroni
First time attending a game 11/2022. Took my kids I got a parking ticket from the structure across the street. I made a mistake when entering the parking number I was not trying to not pay. It would be nice if they understood that this was our first time in this area and since we went to a game you would be given a warning.
