San Holo, the moniker for Dutch producer and DJ Sander van Dijck, first established himself in 2014 as a remix artist in the EDM scene, putting a future bass spin on classics by Dr. Dre, Outkast and 50 Cent. Ahead of his 2018 debut album album1, San Holo dropped a series of EPs and one-off singles, including 2016’s “Light,” which peaked at No. 13 on the Billboard Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart and eventually reached RIAA-certified gold status. The producer has also run his independent record label bitbird since 2014, which oversaw the release of album1 as well as the stay vibrant EP (2020), his full-length follow-up bb u ok? (2021), and his third solo album Existential Dance Music (2023). Over the course of his decade-long career, San Holo has won two International Dance Music Awards and collaborated with Broods, Jai Wolf, AURORA, Yellow Claw and more.

    I've been to very few concerts, and the ones I have attended were in small venues with inexpensive tickets by non top-tier artists. I saw San Holo in Seattle, and it was amazing. He does so much to keep the audience engaged by playing many different instruments, changing the ambiance and lighting and moving around. It made me want to go to more concerts. Even if I had to stand for 3 hours listening to artist I didn't know, care about or like just to hear him. Was worth it, I'm glad I stuck it out and never left my front row spot.

    San Holo at Echostage in DC the other night was a lot of fun. He played some good sets and everything was hitting. I agree with some the light show could have been a little better but I had a hell of a time. Go see him!

    Saw Holo at Echostage this past weekend 6/27. It was a blast. The production was on point and the sets slapped hard. I was dancing and grooving to my own drum all night. Looked like the crowd was certainly into it. EDM music brings me a ton of joy. This style is not mainstream and makes me feel good. Dialed!

    Wow. Just wow. San Holo had such an excellent performance two nights ago in Washington DC. My friends and I saw the show at Echostage and were pleasantly blown away by how good the show was. If you have a chance to go and dont, you are making a huge mistake! Thanks for a fun night.

    I wasn't sure what to expect going into my third EDM show ever—but San Holo absolutely blew me away. He's my second favorite artist in the genre, and this night only deepened my love for his music. His set was the perfect balance: nostalgic classics, crowd-pleasing remixes that had everyone singing along, and fresh new material that still carried his signature emotional energy. The venue added to the experience. I showed up just 30 minutes after doors opened and still landed in the second row—unreal. The crowd was great, the bathrooms were easy to access (a rare win), and the whole event felt well-run and relaxed. The only thing that left me wanting more was he teased Porter Robinson’s Sad Machine—my all-time favorite artist—and didn’t go into a full remix. A San Holo x Porter collab would be a dream come true. Still, it’s hard to imagine topping this night. For me, it was pure joy start to finish. If you get the chance to see San Holo live, take it.

    Finally seeing San Holo live was an unreal experience! I’ve been a fan since his early days on Trap Nation. The way he blended three different sets—acoustic, live, and DJ—kept things fresh. The live instruments and vocals added were amazing, and you could really feel the energy in the crowd. It’s been a goal of mine to see him perform live since hearing The Next Episode remix back in 2015.

    This is one of San Holo's best shows ever! I had a blast and the bar tenders you had are very kind. The bathrooms are clean and it wasn't as chaotic as I've seen the venue. I very much enjoyed this show and would love to see him again some day.
