    Terrible Seats

by barakobama on 11/26/12Cow Palace - Daly City

We purchased seats in the front row center behind the bench. We could not see the ice AT ALL. We had to move to some empty seats. The same thing happened to everyone around us. No one in the first 10 rows behind the bench can see the ice. Everyone just got up and left and sat in other empty seats. The tickets should have had some sort of warning. All of those people and my self and three sons were screwed. No more Bulls hockey for us nor for the others sitting around us.

    San Francisco Bulls

by kattodd on 11/25/12Cow Palace - Daly City

Minor league hockey at its best. Great atmosphere with people dancing, a lot of merchandise thrown out to the fans. The hockey is high tempo and a lot of fights. If you are missing the NHL because of the lockout I recommend going to the Bulls to get your hockey fix. My fiancee' loved it she even went on-line and ordered tickets for another game. It's great for families, mascots walking around and taking pictures with the kids.

With the NHL lockout continuing indefinitely, we have been missing hockey! This was our first SF Bulls game, and we had so much fun! The seats were good, and then we spent second period in the Beer Garden. Our timing was perfect, as we saw the Bulls score two goals while there. We will definitely go again!

it was a pretty entertaining game, with a solid win by the Bulls. The organization is definitely putting a lot of effort to put a good show at the Palace. Sorry to see that the stadium was half full at best, I'd to see that more people go to games and have the Bulls stay around. I'd definitely make the trip from Los Gatos from time to time to watch them, it was an easy ride and an entertaining game.

    Great game!

A super game! Fast, well-played - as good or better than an NHL game! The young team is amazing!

Easy, fun and super kid friendly

by mofoc on 11/23/12Cow Palace - Daly City

Well, it's not the Shark Tank, but it's fun! Don't waste money on lower seats, you cannot see! We bought the most expensive seats, $40., and moved up to the cheaper ones. The view was great from anywhere up higher than the floor seating. If you are "jonesing" for some hockey, this is fun! A step below the Sharks and a step above my 17 yr old's games! Fun and easy!

    Bulls Score with 0:00 Left!

by JMCx2 on 11/20/12Cow Palace - Daly City

The home team made it interesting by scoring two goals to tie in the last 4 minutes of the third period, then won in the post-OT shootout to send the crowd home happy. A visit to this old barn is a must for any hockey fan. Great new center ice video board & sound system at the old Cow Palace, and an excellent PA announcer that got the small crowd loud. Ushers were friendly & controlled fan movement very effectively during game play. My wife & I had a great time.

    Needed a dose of hockey

by Hockeypunk14739 on 11/20/12Cow Palace - Daly City

I decided to take a trip out to Daly City to see what the Bulls were all about. Haven't been to the Cow Palace in years, and was surprised with how well it is kept. Great, fast paced game that waited until the end to get really exciting. Parking is plentiful and fair priced. Not a big fan of food under the heat lamp. Overall, great experience. Would definitely return.

    Seat warnings needed

by Anonymous on 11/20/12Cow Palace - Daly City

The event was fine. We were seated directly behind the Bulls bench, row B which is the first row of seats. Basically in these seats it is impossible to watch any of the game other than directly in front of you thru the players. While it is cool to sit that close to the players, the only way to watch the game is on the video screens. Luckily the arena was pretty empty so we were able to move basically to anywhere we want. But, it would have been nice if there was some warning on ticketmaster about "obstructed view" seats. Especially for those seats which are the most expensive in the arena. We will probably go again. But, we definitely wouldn't choose to sit in those seats again.

    seating

by bellrob5 on 11/19/12Cow Palace - Daly City

Seats where a little to low and could not see all the action because of seating behind benchs. Plenty of food options to choose from. Service people very helpfull.

Nothing like hockey at the Cow Palace

by HockeyFan61 on 11/19/12Cow Palace - Daly City

Unfortunately, the Bulls lost, but the atmosphere was similar to when the Spiders played there in 1995-1996. Much friendlier attitude than the Sharks project at San Jose. Seat angle was good, but higher up would be better. Sounds sytem speakers directly above, and loud.

    Rocking Bulls Reel in Steelheads!

by BlackMetalMartha on 11/18/12Cow Palace - Daly City

The Bulls were in top form Friday night. They dominated the game. Had a great time, good crowd, except for a few noob glass pounders. DO NOT POUND THE GLASS!

Pretty sparse crowd, probably not even half full. But no bad seat in the house, and even the best seats are affordable. The Cow Palace is pretty old and run-down, but it has a homely feel to it and has a rich history. I'd be willing to do one of these games per year, but probably not more.

    Sf bulls hockey

by Goober1dog on 11/12/12Cow Palace - Daly City

I really enjoyed the game, it started off slow but was then fast paced. I guess not having to have tv timeouts the game could move along faster. The crowd was into it but always makes it exciting plus a new scoreboard as well as improvements in the food add to my pleasure

    Cow Palace not the Arena

by StarvedSharksFan on 11/12/12Cow Palace - Daly City

I really have to admire the early 1990s Sharks fans who commuted to the Palace. The Cow palace does not have much rise as the seats go back from the glass so we were looking through Ryan Clowe in his suit even though about 15 rows from the glass. Save your money and don't buy box or front row seats unless opposite the bench. I couldn't force ticketmaster to find me any on scorer's side. Also, the PA system was insanely loud. At the door we had to throw out our peanuts and water bottles which the SJ Arena allows so don't bring in anything to eat or drink. SF Bulls in 1st seaon and not very good but fans were enthusiastic. Their cheerleader "Belles" wore skimpy outfits as they shoveled the ice and assisted contests - would be nice if Arena did the same.

    Logistics

by gymdez on 11/12/12Cow Palace - Daly City

First, the game was great. A 4-1, hard hitting win. And, the venue...The Cow Palace...was a great step back in time. The history of this building dates back to long before my first step into the place to see Ray Stevens battle it out with Mitsu Hayakawa, two of wrestling's stars of the early to mid 60s, and my very first hockey game ever between the Seals and LA Blades. The hockey history is revealed in a great display that shows uniform and other memorabilia of the four teams that skated there, and it was here where our first two seasons of Shark hockey took place. I was there for the first game, and the first win and many many more. Great to be back again. But, getting to the place could not be better than going by Muni. Their website is great, allowing you to plan your route and times. And, for only two bucks, including transfers...it's the only way to go to the game if you don't want to drive. Bad side: Get rid of the CowBelles. They have no energy and aren't all that great to look at. Very weak.
