I have been taking my daughter to see the San Antonio Silver Stars for her birthday every year for 4 years now. The organization in my opinion has been first-class; they have done everything from upgrade our seats to 6 rows behind the players, to having my daughter go down on the floor during practice to hand the players balls. She has gotten several autographs from the players, who seem like they actually enjoy doing so, which is uncommon for professional athletes. The Silver Stars are yet to lose a game we've gone to see. Their games are always memorable, and are a great and affordable form of entertainment!
We had the best time at the Silver Stars game with our daughter and her friend! Our original seats (the row actually), had seats that would not allow us to sit back at all. So when we told one of the ushers, immediately a Customer Service Rep was contacted, and the next thing we knew, we were in floor seats! It was so incredible! We think that the Silver Stars games are so exciting, and we enjoy watching Becky Hammon the most. We try to get to as many games as we can, and think that it is the best entertainment for our money. We love the Spurs, but the Silver Stars events are still affordable for a family, and the crowds are getting bigger and bigger every game! Thanks.
Thoroughly enjoyed the game, fans and the arena atmosphere.
Great seats and a great game ..Very reasonable on the prices ..I brought my whole family we totally enjoyed the game .... I would suggest this experience to anyone who loves basketball.
The games are fun to watch but things like making the crowd continue to stand until they score is like a highschool game
As a season ticket holder, I enjoy every game whether we win or lose. This was a great game. Becky was at her best as usual (welcome back) and the team was fabulous. It was a great win for the Stars. Snell is really coming into her own on the team. She is a great addition. And its good to have VJ back. My condolences.
Becky, Sophia and the rest are true spirited b-ball players. I've taken my son ( who plays b-ball) to the men games but the games were too fast to comprehend. So come forth the female games. We drive almost a hour (from Austin) just to see them play. My son (started watching at 9 yrs old) loves it and yells just as loud as the adults. Screw the men games, the Silver Stars are affordable and just as exciting to watch. I have had season tickets, but this year we spent that money on b-ball camps. Yet we make it back to watch our Silver Stars play from time to time.
Excellent opportunity for families to come out and enjoy Women's Baskeball at it's best! Go Silverstars Go!
Top entertainment for folks of all ages. The athletes are superb; it's basketball at its finest. Halftime entertainment awesome and check out those dancers! The Fox and support staff are to be complimented; never a dull moment. Silver Stars shine on!!!
I took our grandchildren to this game. It was our first time to watch the silver stars. Everyone had a wonderful time and would love to return.
The June 23rd game was our first since becoming season tickets holders and the game was exciting, awesome, and entertaining. It was pay-back for Phoenix and the Stars showed their best, a true inspiration to team spirit. Our group wore red, cause our hearts went ALL out to our Silver Stars and they did not disappoint us that evening. It was an early game which gave us an opportunity to stick around after the game and got to know our neighbors in Section 20. As a matter of fact, the evening continued at a local cafe where Silver Star fans shared coffee, dessert and game highlights before heading home. It was a grand evening.
I LOVED watching Becky Hammon Vs Diana Tarusis. These are two of my favorite teams.
We had a great time w/ the SA Stars. The game was great, and it was not just because we won, but the xtra activies was very enjoyable, we look forward to attending another game very soon. GO STARS GO!!!!!!!
Anyone who has never been to a WNBA game is missing out on a real treat. Let's face it folks, these gals are talented! They are out there on the court working hard and scrapping for every point and receiving pay that is just a drop in the bucket compared to their male counterparts in the NBA. These ladies are humble and are without the big egos that alot of the male NBA players have. These gals play TOGETHER on the court and are not worried about who can score the most points, but have a common goal: to get a victory. When in the public eye, the players are down to earth , very approachable, & are very appreciative of their fans. So, if you are looking for a good family event, please, take them to see the San Antonio Silver Stars play. I travel from Waco several times during the season to catch a game. Once you attend, you'll become a fan for life!
The Siilver Stars are a class act. They are great athletes who seem to know the value of working as a team. The staff put on a great show and the athletes are awesome to watch. The Silver Stars have continued the professonal standards of the Spurs. Great job Coach Hughes and your staff.
The WNBA plays closer to real basketball than the NBA. A lot more fun to watch if you really want to watch basketball not entertainment.
My seat was right next to an obese person who should have been charged for two seats, hers and mine. She and her friend had open seats next to them but did not have the courtesy to move down one seat. We had to relocate in the 2nd half. Otherwise, I believe that San Antonio is missing out on a great team and program by not filling the house for every home game.
There were literally only about two feet from the court to the seats. The players from both teams gave it their all and the set-up was great!
I had a great time with my family watching the game. It was so refreshing to get out and see some hoops. The staff that was there was extra friendly. The spurs bus was cool. and the free prizes was just icing on the cake
