    Crowded and Long Waits

by Webby on 5/14/24Smith's Ballpark - Salt Lake City

To begin, there’s obviously always been a problem regarding parking at Smith Ballpark. They never anticipated or planned for a large amount of people (which in this instance was 50% capacity) to attend games, and every block for half a mile is full of cars. If you do find a spot to park, it’s filled with a homeless encampment. Once we entered the stadium (which was down to one gate entry), we were surrounded by people with nowhere to go without running into someone. I figured it was just a busy game, but soon found out that wasn’t the case. The concessions were the cause. Every single concessions stand had lines wrapping into the corridor and in people’s way. No one knew where they ended. We did try to get food, but after waiting in one single spot for 15 minutes with no sign of movement, we bailed and decided to eat after the game. We noticed that this particular concession stand had one worker operating 5 different registers, along with getting the food prepped. If you are going to be that short staffed, don’t try to operate more than 2 registers at a time.

    Bye bye Bees

by FinJeff on 5/14/24Smith's Ballpark - Salt Lake City

Bees at Smith's is the bees knees. Great stadium (the best in baseball, said Sports Illustrated). I like baseball food. Bees are fun to watch. Safe and wholesome outing. I will enjoy the Bees until they move. There is zero zero zero chance, that I ever will travel to attend a game in Daybreak. Too bad that the Bees and the ballpark are not part of the plan for a vital SLC. This seems to me to be a reflection of a lack of disposition or lack of ability at City Hall to balance economic and other costs and benefits (Mayor! Planning team?).

    Mixed bag

by Bobby on 5/14/24Smith's Ballpark - Salt Lake City

I appreciate the Miller family having this team in town. Beautiful views, and fun to watch these skilled players in a family-friendly environment. Ticket prices remain affordable. The parking situation is atrocious, and the food lines were slower than Depression-era soup lines. It was about a 2-inning wait for food.

    Love Our Bees

by Joei on 4/24/24Smith's Ballpark - Salt Lake City

Our seats were fantastic! And as always the game day experience was top tier! We love coming to the games especially on a warm day! The staff were all friendly and smiling . Only negative is that the concession stand closest to our seats ran out of Dr.Pepper, but we settled for something else and still had a great time

    Great day at the ballpark

by Mike on 9/28/23Smith's Ballpark - Salt Lake City

Great experience! Took my 95 year old father in law to the game. Staff was fantastic. Setting and crowd were fantastic. Loved the 2.5 hour game duration. Enjoyed the pitch review efficiency. Other than the concessions were out of peanuts (last game of season), it was perfect. Salt Lake is ready for MLB!!!

    Bees for the comeback win

by Pepe lemieux on 9/22/23Smith's Ballpark - Salt Lake City

The game started out a little rough with a pitcher assisting the away team tack on 4 points due to walking them. The bees came back in the 8th and tied up the game then sealed the with with a point in the 9th. We also had a short weather delay. The ticket prices were decent and the seats were great. Soda and popcorn was about what one would pay at a movie theater. The gift shop however was a full on joke. Everything was very high priced; especially for a minor league baseball team.

    Frustrating Tickets

by JB on 9/9/23Smith's Ballpark - Salt Lake City

OK, so I'm not a spring chicken, but getting 'electronic' access to my Bee's tickets was not easy, at all, for me. This was the first time doing this, so maybe it will get easier as time goes on? I would prefer just to do it the old fashioned way - send me my tickets, I print them out, and that it! Yeah, that's really how old I am.........
