Lucky to have been there!
by 70sMusicMan on 7/15/13Fortune Bay Casino - TowerThis concert was AMAZING! Could not find a site for reviewing the 7/13/2013 show at Fortune Bay Casino in Minnesota, so decided to use this site to comment. John Ford Coley opened with "I'd really love to see you tonight" which was how our group felt about all the acts we saw. Player & Firefall sounded awesome - just like they did back when they were on the radio. The special treat of the night was seeing & hearing Al Stewart who sounded so crisp and right on key for both Time Passages & Year of the Cat. Orleans did a spectacular job as the house band for all these acts and they kept the show flowing quickly from one song to another without interruptions. Christopher Cross topped the night off and sounded awesome too. The whole gang returned for an encore performance. It was obvious they were having so much fun playing together - just as much fun as we were all having in the audience listening to their classics.
