    Set Back

    by L.D. on 10/14/23

Great rink and atmosphere. Handful of boys with some real skills, but coaching staff seems to lack to optimize that. Hope the morale can improve for the season.

    Great experience

    by P. G. on 7/13/23

The experience at Martire was amazing. The crowd, shopping, everything. Tickets were very well priced and would definitely recommend for anyone. Views of the stadium are great from all around and prices are great. 10/10 experience

    from an alumni

by Alumni on 3/6/23Martire Family Arena - Fairfield

The arena itself is gorgeous & everything is reasonably priced. It’s very nice to see this addition to my college. It was the start of of a break so there was not many students around but one of the fathers said the game I went to was the lightest attendance since It opened so I know it’s doing well and will get the school spirit going!

    Too much Noise

    by W. C. on 2/10/23Martire Family Arena - Fairfield

The arena is beautiful, and the SH Band was great. But the noise level of the P.A. system was overwhelming. I couldn't even hear the people I was sitting with. The Noise app on my Apple Watch reported that the decibel level was unsafe for human ears. I could not understand the names of the players when they were announced, and did not understand a word of the ceremony when the medics were honored for saving the Army player who was injured at a prior game. I would not attend another game unless they fix the P.A. system and the noise level is reduced.

First time to new hockey arena

by Dave on 2/10/23Martire Family Arena - Fairfield

Parking is an absolute disaster. Took 40 minutes. First and last time I’ll go to this venue.

    Absolutely horrible parking.

by Joe on 2/10/23Martire Family Arena - Fairfield

Sacred Heart hockey has a brand new arena, the Martire Family Arena. It’s a modern facility but evidently no thought was put into parking/traffic. Although we left ample time we took a 20 minute trip in traffic through the entrance, around the parking lots, to the upper level and back down to the exit with not a space to be found. We eventually parked at a golf course over a mile away and took a shuttle bus which had a serious exhaust leak. There were plenty of security and police around directing traffic but apparently no one knew that there was no parking left. Needless to say we missed half of the first period. I will never ever go here again. You shouldn’t either unless you don’t mind getting there 2 hours early to park and wait for the game to start.

Classic college hockey at it's best!

by lexie1277 on 1/16/17Webster Bank Arena - Bridgeport

Though attendance was very low our energy was high. The Webster Bank Arena is a great place to see an event. The staff is friendly and helpful. One downside was that only one concession was open because of the attendance and quite pricey with no other options. Came home with 2 official play hockey pucks. Parking cost the same at the price of our seat in the stadium. And would definitely buy the tickets directly from the box office instead of paying outrageous "convenience" fees ordering online. Overall a great time with my teenage boys.
